Who'd a thunk 2 years ago that the best team in town would be the Pistons.2 points

If Ivey scored 17PPG, shot 40% from three, and played a little defense, he would still be employed.2 points

Anyone else excited about this? I mean obviously this isn't the same as the Apollo missions, but I'm still excited to see that we're going back to the moon. I was technically alive for some of the Apollo missions, but let's just say that the astronauts and I were both using the same type of bathroom facilities then. It'll be pretty cool to watch people walking on the moon live. Granted, that's the Artemis III mission, but they have to do this mission first so this will be one step closer. Just over 9 hours when I'm posting this until launch.1 point

3 competent hitters out of the whole team (and a decent Base On Balls guy). And the fact that a 21-year old rookie, who never played above AA ball is BY FAR your best hitter is disturbing. Yeah, I know it's early, blah blah blah, but this is just a continuation of last September. Greene is a ****ing windmill. Congraulations on repeating as the K-King. I have no doubt that's coming. Torkelson isn't anywhere close to being a 1-1, Carpenter looks foolish and Javy has revered back to his 2023/2024 self. They'd be 0-6 if it wasn't for K-Mac and Keith and a Padres Opening Day starter that pitched like he had Vertigo. It's too early in the season to be this angry. And it's cold outside today. Freaking 38 degrees when it was 70 yesterday. Today sucks. Hey Tigers, are you getting intensity tips from the Red Wings?1 point

We know that when he gets it going he will be money. But for now, he's ass.1 point

Carpenter looks lost. Can't find his hammer. only screws.1 point

Our hitters are picking up where they left off the last dozen or so games of the 2025 regular season.1 point

I think they all used to "pitch to the score". It's a different game today with practically every hitter being a home run threat. It's all about maximum effort the whole game now.1 point

Other than Celebrini, 9 of the top 10 current NHL points leaders were drafted in 2015 or earlier. Four were drafted ten seasons ago (2015), one eleven seasons ago, one twelve seasons ago, one thirteen seasons ago (David Pastrnak, drafted after Larkin), and two fourteen seasons ago. It is tough to hear but we are still paying the price for Holland’s poor drafting today and will still be paying the price for it for another five seasons easily. A long rebuild was inevitable and the only one with a leash long enough for it is Steve Yzerman.1 point

Lucky for all of the "no respect" people the NBA has a mechanism for teams to earn respect. It starts in 2 1/2 weeks.1 point

it's been off-and-on like this for me since the start of the season. I didn't come by too often during the offseason/ST, so I don't know how long it's been like this.1 point

Wow, six innings, 93 pitches, one run, nine strikeouts. This is the guy we’d hoped Mize would be.1 point

They aren’t different. None of them honored their contracts. The Lions made all of those players the highest paid at their positions. The Lions have to be the only employer that’s required to still pay employees after they quit.1 point

I guess so. Just last night, SGA had 25 free throws. The entire Piston team had 23 free throws. That's the ballgame right there.1 point

Incredible and sad to see. It's sad that both Tiger and JD's lives have been out of control at times. If Daly had Tiger's discipline when he was a younger man he could have been the best golfer on tour. Daly has all the natural talent in the world. It appears though that over the past decade, Tigers has little more discipline than Daly at this point.1 point

If we needed another data point on the basketball hall of fame being a joke. Doc Rivers was just elected to the hall.1 point

Oh for the love of all that's Holy. JV was terrible. Paul Skenes was worse. Anyone giving up on Skenesy? No JV is 43. He's going to look it at times. He might need a longer ramp. The team's fortune are not riding on starer #4 or 5. The fortunes are riding on the hope that the rookie isn't your best hitter (by a mile) 14 Ks yesterday. Inexcusable. To call JV a flop based on one start is beyond ridiculous. I'm hungry, let's get a taco.1 point

My heart is breaking. Had to say goodbye to Sam today. A quick, sudden health issue that couldn’t be resolved. He was 18. I adopted him 11 years ago, and he was my dog Lucy’s partner in crime. for now, I’ll be pet less for a couple months to give my heart time to heal. Then I’ll be looking for another one or two companions for me at the shelter. Goodbye, Sammy-Sammy/Buddy-buddy. 💔0 points

My epidural has yielded good results so far. My tingling is still there, but is much better. My mom died 2 years ago, she had alzheimer's; and I watch my dad, and he has dementia. I can't tell the difference between the two, my dad does ask the same questions over, but mostly he's pretty sharp. I enjoy our time together, but I miss golfing with him with my son, 3 lefties.0 points
