Conspiracy theorist in me does wonder why the league gave them the 2nd most Prime Time games in the league despite only winning 6 games last year and not having some amazing offseason or something. I know they have a relatively big fan base but there are teams that have bigger that didn't get that much.

Have they gotten rid of extra off days this playoffs cause I will say it does seem to be going by alot faster than in previous years which seemed to go on forever.

For the record I like Grady(sick of seeing the censors) because I feel he is more than just an outside shooter. Sure having that elite skill helps minimize the complete bust chance but I think there is far more to his game than just that. I do worry about the defense but he has length, works hard and has that supposed high basketball IQ so having those things could help make him atleast passive there. Also a genuine question, unless you're Evan Mobley or something I don't know how easy it is to predict defensive prowess in the NBA. I feel like there are always guys who you think are going to be bad there that end up good and vice versa so its hard for me to just watch a guy in college and just say with confidence that he is going to be a great defender in the pros.

Was coming to post the same thing, looking at his splits though he has basically been automatic from the 40-49 yard range the past 5 years(I think he missed 1 or 2 total in 5 years) which to me is the most important range for the Lions. Reason I say that is with how aggressive the team is they aren't going to be kicking many 50+FGs which is the distance where he kinda struggled this past year, from that distance Campbell and company just assume go for it than try to kick it so as long as you are reliable in that medium range like McMannus has been I think that is what matters most for us.

Ibanez is definitely on borrowed time, if he was smart he'd pull a Deuce and get "injured" so he can go on the DL instead of the inevitable minor league demotion.

I don't know if it's common among all fan bases but it does seem like Tigers fans are overly eager about pushing guys(myself included) like a guy will have a hot few weeks and we'll immediately be advocating a promotion. I like to think it's because weve had so few great prospects over the years, atleast relative to other teams so when we actually get guys that are performing we almost don't know how to react.

Yes but those fans have been seeing them 9 times a year for several years so by this point the novelty of seeing them may have worn out a bit. I mean it's certainly still there but not to the extent that it would be to a market that either hasn't seen or rarely sees them. To them this could be the first time they got a chance to see them on a weekend with nice weather so that potential gain should be more than the loss you would see in intra division games.

I care about attendance numbers just cause I want the game to grow or atleast not die off so any sign of possible growth is a good thing in my eyes even if it doesn't directly effect me.

Some have also speculated that with the more balanced schedule now there could be some more attractive or atleast new matchups for fans to go out and see.
