  1. Yeah you can come up with multiple legit reasons why they may not be as good as some are speculating but his reasons arent any of them. It's actually embarrassing that they would publish that answer for a pay insider article that is centered towards gamblers. It would be like telling people to bet on something with the only reason being "its due".
  2. The only one I really liked thus far was the Titans, part of that though was due to me seeing dumb hot chicks..... just the way I like them.
  3. Definitely made my day seeing KD lose, not to mention Ishbia has always annoyed me even back to his "playing" days at MSU where he was basically the Darko aka human victory cigar for them so seeing his team go down was an added bonus. Also its funny seeing ex Piston castoffs like KCP, Brown, Tobias, Reggie Jackson(in a prior year(s)) etc. get serious run in the playoffs on good teams when they felt like liabilities here.
  4. For real though I see the Lions going 12-5. Im sure I'm setting myself up for disappointment but I really like the players, coaching and this schedule plus cmon they have The Alpha Male Jack Campbell now, how could they win less than 12?
  5. 16-1, only loss will be week 18 when DC rests everybody instead of going for the perfect season.
  6. Here's the Chargers, I don't know anything about Anime but I did chuckle at them putting up the Gambling Addiction Hotline for their game against us.
  7. Yep, also be interesting to see if we get any of those 4:25 national games. If you go by ratings last year those games were actually watched more than the prime time games.
  8. I guess you don't know for sure how teams are going to look but at first glance going by expectations the slate of MNF games looks alot better this year than it did last year. Last year if felt like most of the games were either lopsided or between two bad teams. Didn't feel like many were your typical Prime Time game that you think of.
  9. Full MNF schedule, this year they have the option to flex games like they do with SNF so we could possibly end up with more than the 2.
  10. That Cowboys game is on Monday Night as well according to Adam Shefter.
  11. Depending on how things play out there's a relatively good chance one of or both those last 2 games get flexed.
  12. Yeah I remember when we acquired him and I heard some hype around it I thought to myself "I didn't think he was that good?" so then I checked his bref page and I'm like "maybe I'm missing something?" so I check his savant and FG pages and still nothing so I finally came to the conclusion that the people that hyped him up must have had a REALLY low bar or put way too much stock in his supposed receiving abilities behind the plate.
  13. Sharpfootball has the schedule rankings up based on Vegas o/u win totals and based on that the Lions have the 8th easiest. No that methodology isn't perfect but I feel it's better than just looking at last year's records.
  14. "We were on the fence about putting them there but after we saw them draft Jack Campbell we knew we had no other choice."
  15. I did enjoy seeing him mess around with Boyd the other day when Matt was doing the in game interview. Like ERod interrupted the interview to put the WIngs HR helmet on Boyd as they both shared a laugh. Seemed to really be fitting in as "one of the boys."
  16. If that MNF game is true I think it shows that it is more due to the Lions than anything cause although the Raiders have a loyal fanbase I think it has died down a bit since they moved to LV, not to mention they weren't in the Cowboys Packers, Steelers or Brady team to begin with so they weren't the type of team you can just stick on MNF unless they are playing a quality opponent.
  17. According to ESPN's WAR E-Rod now leads all pitchers in baseball and is 3rd among all players only trailing Acuna and Franco by .1 and .2 respectively.
  18. That would be a nice start to the schedule, we'd get KC at arguably the best time, games you should win against ATL, GB and Carolina and most importantly we'd get to possibly settle the all important Seattle debate early!
  19. Its nice to know the Lions will be playing in the first game of the NFL season and of course playing and winning the last game of the NFL season.
  20. Definitely throwing our new secondary into the deep end by playing KC the first game. As mentioned though it is usually best to get the good teams in week 1 cause the first week has shown to be even more volatile than a normal NFL game. Plus with the Chiefs getting their rings and essentially recelebrating their championship they may come out a little slow.
  21. Packers schedule was leaked, we get them on Thanksgiving and a Thursday night game in Lambeau in like week 5 or 6.
  22. Birkett confirms the Chiefs opener, also says we have 2 more a Thursday games as well.
  23. Erie wins 1-0 so not much to report on the offensive side, the lone run was driven in by Dingler who went 1-4. The good news from the game though is that judging by the stat line Madden looked alot better throwing 5 shutout innings allowing just 2 hits with 6Ks and no BBs.
  24. This is my thought, even if we don't win the division it would be nice to atleast play in some meaningful games in August and September and keeping E-Rod makes that hope a little more achievable.
  25. Tiger win 5-0 and close out another series win! The 5 run win will help out our all important pythag record!
