Yeah I have been doing that too, out of the handful or so that Ive seen this one would be the latest I seen with the earliest being 22. All of them had the Lions as the last North team.

From a couple websites Ive seen they have said that Hendricks is flying up boards and I have seen him as high as 4 on some boards. Theres always that one guy that has a meteoric rise and he is looking like he could be that guy this year.

Yeah on paper it def seems like a cakewalk. I see only 4 games against playoff teams from last year and 2 of them are against the team that finished below .500

I found it odd that Braden didnt sell it at all, like his eyes didn't light up or give off this "oh **** look", perhaps he didn't even register what was said.

Idk I think the Chiefs draw monster crowds regardless of traveling fans but I have no reasons of my own so I guess it's possible. You would think it would be in their best interest to have the "home" game that is being played on a neutral field be the easiest opponent possible since you are less likely to need the actual advantages of playing at home against them.

Sad to hear about the Gilbert passing. He annoyed the hell out of me at those lotteries but I had no idea he had the disease he had. Anyway my condolences to the whole Gilbert family.

Yesterday I bet the over on 1.5 bases for Goldschmidt so he proceeds to go 0-4 with 3Ks and a GIDP, so naturally he responds with 3HRs the next game when I don't do a player prop with him.

Welp this one is over, 30-10 now. I think Love has turned it over more this game at Ford Field than Goff did all season there.

Between WM, Lakeland and Toledo I really couldn't find many performances of note. Jung was a double for 4 and Malloy bounced back a bit from his Golden Sombrero yesterday by going 1 for 3 with 2BBs not much to note other than that.

Just googled it and apparently they installed them in 2017, I have no idea how I am just now noticing it. Maybe because it blended in more with a packed stadium of blue apparel or Im just not very observant. I'm leaning towards the latter.

I can't believe I never noticed those LED boards on the columns on the one side of the field at Ford Field. When did they put those on them? I haven't been down there since 2016 and I know they weren't there then.

Yeah I said something about him like a week or so ago and it seems like he's been tearing it up since. In my defense when I said that I had no idea that he got hurt and was in West Michigan on a rehab assignment, I just saw he was playing there so I assumed it was a demotion.

Down in Erie the Seawolves are up 10-4 late in the game. Keith 1-4 with a HR and a walk and after taking the day off yesterday the Dirk Dingler returns to the lineup and stays hot going 2-4 with a walk and 3 RBIs. Flores had another so so outing it appears, 5 innings of 3 run ball with only 3KS and 2BBs. I don't know what his stuff has looked like but judging by the results it must be way down this year.

Flipping through the channels and I just came across the game on NBC. Just got to halftime and the Panthers are down 13-3, I don't know how it compares to other stadiums but it seems like a half way decent crowd down at Ford Field from what I can tell. I was afraid it was gonna look like the sporting events during the pandemic.

Kiley McDaniel says as well that Skenes is the best college pitching prospect since Gerritt Cole and one of the handful of the best in the last 20 years. Still though for all the reasons that have already been outlined I just don't like the idea of taking a pitcher that early. He would need to be viewed as the clearly better prospect to do so like how Mize was at the time.

Shep's calls don't annoy me so much, I mean not that they are good or anything but they don't really bother me that much what does though is the stupid things he will often say throughout the broadcast. For example I mentioned it the other day but he's like "The Tigers have now scored more runs in 5 innings than they did all of the first game!" The way he started the sentence you thought it was going to be some wild tidbit he was about to throw out but nope, just letting us know that it took them 3 more innings the previous game to score that many runs.

What I wouldn't have given to have Lange on those good Tiger teams!

I remember in 06 we played the Cardinals in interleague play and a few Cardinals fans were sitting in front of us, we jokingly went back and forth with each other about our teams and they said something along the lines of "You guys are too young to remember 68, that still stings to us Cardinals fans, we'll pay you back someday" little did I know then that they were going to get their revenge later that year!
