That's like a car speeding out of control regardless of what the driver was doing and running into a crowd of people then finally the driver can stop it with the brakes and saying "See... the brakes worked"

I watched security and body cam footage and the shooter blasted thru the glass on the doors. Never even opened them just crawled thru

He's so stealthy I forgot all about him

Phonetically I say it’s “clean” and not breaking thread rules. Replies are great.

Karim Garcia says Hello. Looked him up.... dude hit 533 HR in professional baseball,

yeah. There's near term solutions and long term solutions.

Nate Silver mentioned months ago about these polls and the binary aspect being misleading. Someone might say they are not a fan of Biden as a preferred choice, and answer the poll/quesiton that way, but they damn well will vote for him if on the ballot regardless of who's on the other side.

I see things like this as free lottery tickets. Sure they probably will not be anything but every so often you get a $10 win and maybe someone like this can be useful for 30 games this year before finding his natural level again. The problem this org had over the years is riding out these guys for too long instead of recognizging when the well went dry.

it's like a parody of the worst twitter accounts that are also quite boring. It's like 2015 social media when the old people finally figured out how to use "the facebook"

If it were a right winger he'd be given a weekend night slot on Fox News or Newmax or start writing for Brietbart. Then he'd get elected to congress in a red state.

All the students and teachers should carry automatic weapons, wear bullet proof vests, firefighter uniforms, and lug around oxygen tanks and masks in case they either have an armed assailant or a fire breaks out. That's the part we all can play to protect the 2A. It's our God given right and and our solemn duty to protect the precious things He gave to us.

I have a friend who's a retired chief and he's done some consulting, unofficially, for this kind of thing. One guy selling a system reached out to him for advice. One thing that many don't consider is proposed solutions by a man on the street won't meet fire code. Trying to keep people out also means often keeping people in.

How do we know the shooter wasn’t a drag queen?
-
eh.... just more shit to breakdown later. Appliances.... KISS A friend in the appliance parts business told me that years ago. Everyone buys these washers with all these features and yet every time they push the same button.

well clearly this means girls can't go to school now. They're dangerous. This is what happens when you give girls tampons.

sound logic as usual by republicans. As long as X,Y, and Z is happening then we look past A, B, and C. It might shock you but people are capable of multiple workstreams at once. Tough on crime though, yeah?

They will be rusty. It will be like the 2006 World Series

I guess I wasn’t thinking of Friday as a weekday game but it is. I might stop at bookies after for a beer instead of having one at the game then. I know some people will have trouble making it on time because… work.

Earlier this off-season the tigers announced start times for weekday night games would be 6:40. They already did this for April/May and September games the last few years. I looked in my ticket account and noticed all my night games are 6:40. Even weekends. I looked up the official schedule and they show the same. Not sure if this is official or just an oversight. I didn’t mind the weekdays but combined with the clock shortening games I will be getting home at 9 pm sometimes. That’s not a night out. “Feedback from fans and tv partners” means they found a few fans that wanted it but more importantly the TV partners did.

Gingrich used C-SPAN in that very method to gain his power back in the day within the GOP. He realized even though the chamber was empty the camera was on him. That made for good sound bites on talk radio.

If we have to keep the time then I would get rid of the 7 second batter alert rule. Let the pitcher throw a strike and if the hitter isn’t ready then that’s on him. The pitcher has the ball so he can dictate it.

so what is the benefit for that blue checkmark now? The whole point of it wasn't about the person tweeting, but the reader. You've devalued the product for the audience.... and giving the option to hide it just admits that.

This thread is for Comedy Skits (Probably NSFW)

Smigel is such a genius. One of my favorite SNL sketches, which doesn't get much airplay is Sabra Price is Right. It's not available anywhere proper, like youtube or the SNL stuff on streaming. I had it recorded on a VHS from when it aired and it is on the Best of Tom Hanks DVD. A lot of the jokes made its way into "Don't mess with the Zohan". So many catch phrases from this were part of my lexicon. "Like Sony", "Toshiba Guts", "When did you drop it?", "Go talk to my wife",.... I don't know if people think its racist..... I live in Dearborn and I can tell you it's accurate as hell. Just a culture thing. -
Articles say they are actually physically lowering the walls in RF and losing the first row of seats (around 50 in total). Interesting they have to do that rather than just make the grate longer. That would suck if someone had season tickets in that row. I assume they just bumped everyone back a row and aren't really telling anyone?

Hope it's ready
