Even with a script that I wrote for the teleprompter, an on a subject I know very well, once that light comes on it's weird. I mean.... the cost to listen is nothing. These aren't professionals. The Lions beat KC in week 1, on the road. They almost beat SF 2 weeks ago, you could argue they should have, whatever. SF loses in OT to KC. Yeah... the Lions belong. They would have fit right in. Late last week I was thinking about how crazy this town would be right now with the Lions in Vegas. The Red Wings played Saturday night in Detroit. I bet there would have been a constant chant of Let's Go Lions and Jared Goff.

Then that would be the scandal and the story, that Garland is "interfering". They would muddle up the details, as they always do. Talking points were already made up.

Ann Coulter was right.... our only hope is to see what happens when Trump dies. I used to enjoy politics like I enjoyed sports. I could detach from my own views and get into the spirit of who was beating who, what was a good point made, what is their strategy, etc. Analysis. That's all gone now. There is no shame by our politicians. There are no electoral penalties anymore. It all comes down to winning for your side and hurting the oppositon and certain groups. I'm not both sidesing this either. Democrats by and large want to govern. Republicans do not and don't care if you tell them that. They know that 47% of the voters will still vote for them and they have a gerrymandered and EC guaranteed shot at running every branch of government and plenty of states to prevent Constitutional Amendments they don't want. We'll never ever see another Constitutional Amendment.

Everybody in the future should be a DH except Riley Greene and Meadows.

Mike Pence was in a similar situation. I bet W and Obama and Bill and Cheney and Gore have some classified docs in their stuff that they don't know about. A scrap piece of paper with a phone number on it could be classified. It's how you act after it's discovered you have them that matter. The nature of their jobs required them to have classified documents to review and study and their jobs were pretty much 24 hours a day and they would work from wherever they happened to be. They didn't drive into the office on public transit for a 9-5 office shift. By the way, does anybody actually work 9-5?

It's a catch 22 for sure. She was a great pick for VP. The only way out of this without Biden is if she can convince people she didn't want to run without it being a "They made me say this, it's not how I feel". That's a hard sell because if you say you don't want to run for President this year then you shouldn't be VP right now. AA's will definitely see it as a slight if she were not the nominee if Biden dropped out. She was good enough to court for demographics and all that but when **** got real then let's bring out the great white hope? They will stay home.

9-0 and 8-1 decisions are good. Of course Trump will say it means he's innocent and didn't do an insurrection. And I have some doubts that if CO had for some reason ruled Biden ineligible for something that the ruling would be 9-0 or 8-1. Alito and Thomas, and Gorsuch probably, would come up with a reason to sustain it.

It will be 6-3 decision. I'm not telling you which way but I can see Barret/Chief/Kavanaugh siding with the libs, and I could just as easily see them siding with the other 3. But I suspect it will be the latter. No way a court with 6 conservatives will let "states rights" prevail.
