How do we know the shooter wasn’t a drag queen?
-
eh.... just more shit to breakdown later. Appliances.... KISS A friend in the appliance parts business told me that years ago. Everyone buys these washers with all these features and yet every time they push the same button.

well clearly this means girls can't go to school now. They're dangerous. This is what happens when you give girls tampons.

sound logic as usual by republicans. As long as X,Y, and Z is happening then we look past A, B, and C. It might shock you but people are capable of multiple workstreams at once. Tough on crime though, yeah?

They will be rusty. It will be like the 2006 World Series

I guess I wasn’t thinking of Friday as a weekday game but it is. I might stop at bookies after for a beer instead of having one at the game then. I know some people will have trouble making it on time because… work.

Earlier this off-season the tigers announced start times for weekday night games would be 6:40. They already did this for April/May and September games the last few years. I looked in my ticket account and noticed all my night games are 6:40. Even weekends. I looked up the official schedule and they show the same. Not sure if this is official or just an oversight. I didn’t mind the weekdays but combined with the clock shortening games I will be getting home at 9 pm sometimes. That’s not a night out. “Feedback from fans and tv partners” means they found a few fans that wanted it but more importantly the TV partners did.

Gingrich used C-SPAN in that very method to gain his power back in the day within the GOP. He realized even though the chamber was empty the camera was on him. That made for good sound bites on talk radio.

If we have to keep the time then I would get rid of the 7 second batter alert rule. Let the pitcher throw a strike and if the hitter isn’t ready then that’s on him. The pitcher has the ball so he can dictate it.

so what is the benefit for that blue checkmark now? The whole point of it wasn't about the person tweeting, but the reader. You've devalued the product for the audience.... and giving the option to hide it just admits that.

This thread is for Comedy Skits (Probably NSFW)

Smigel is such a genius. One of my favorite SNL sketches, which doesn't get much airplay is Sabra Price is Right. It's not available anywhere proper, like youtube or the SNL stuff on streaming. I had it recorded on a VHS from when it aired and it is on the Best of Tom Hanks DVD. A lot of the jokes made its way into "Don't mess with the Zohan". So many catch phrases from this were part of my lexicon. "Like Sony", "Toshiba Guts", "When did you drop it?", "Go talk to my wife",.... I don't know if people think its racist..... I live in Dearborn and I can tell you it's accurate as hell. Just a culture thing. -
Articles say they are actually physically lowering the walls in RF and losing the first row of seats (around 50 in total). Interesting they have to do that rather than just make the grate longer. That would suck if someone had season tickets in that row. I assume they just bumped everyone back a row and aren't really telling anyone?

Hope it's ready

I literally just said this to someone else a few minutes ago. I like the parking lots. Gives us a lot of options and keeps prices low. I like being able to prepay and pick out my lot. I go with the furthest one away from whatever location I am at, unless it's the Fillmore because those are usually low volume nights. But for a crowded event at LCA or Comerica or Ford Field I have my favorites. Theres plenty of other places in the area to build up on. So yeah... I like the parking lots. I think they are convenient for planning purposes.

My sweet spot for time of games I attend is around 2:45 to be honest. I can get home around 10:15 and still have time to watch something or whatever. I live close by though so I understand for others it's an issue.

I am a member of the museum and we go all the time since we live so close, even if we just want to get out of the house for an hour or so. Haven't yet been to the Scooby Doo exhibit b/c its a timed thing you walk through. Things I avoid are the sewing/furniture type things by the food location and all the weapons in the back. Been there done that. One and Done. There's a "pop culture through time" near the rotating exhibit hall that's great. The kids can dance and be on TV to Prince or Madonna or Dire Straits. The President cars. The area on airplanes. The big train and all the cars next to it. Right in the middle is a civil rights thing. Hit those things and you get the essence of it all.

I think extending it instead of waiving it would be good. That example alone shows a 25/30 range is still acceptable. I watched that clip numerous times and never felt like it was dragging. Especially when you give the broadcast time to review the previous pitch. I think 25/30 forces the problem relieves to adjust their game.

They would say he's not rich because he sacrificed it all to be President and paid the price for all the lawyers to fight the witchhunts and because he gave away his pay as President and paid so much in taxes. None of that is true but the truth is irrelevant to MAGA. He's had about 500 things since 2015 that would have disqualified him both as a POTUS candidate and a GOP candidate. None of it stuck.
-
There's nothing that Trump would do or have done to him that would embarass MAGA. There could be a sex tape of him and Hillary. Of him and Bill. Or Obama. Nothing will turn them away from him.

I don't think the goal is to stop what we saw last night. It's to stop the situations that "we know it when we see it".... constant adjusting of gloves and pacing around the mound. Basically any Red Sox/Yankee game.

CJ with the same thoughts. He clocks the final at bat. If someone thinks this needs improving then I am not sure the they are baseball fan and why are we making rules for non baseball fan. There's a middle ground somewhere in all of this.

and it makes me sad to think of how he died.

It was so fun to watch. I wonder how it feels to the players? The US players looked dejected and the damn season hasn't started yet. And we watched all of that without a pitch clock. Yes I'm beating that drum still. I am close to saying I don't like it.
