Oh no, MiGuy has already hard a rough week on this site.  And now he gets Edmanned.

FWIW, I really wasn't trying to be snarky. Genuinely curious... To me, a reliever that belongs in the bigs is one that is blowing the doors off of AAA: sub 2 ERA, K/9 above 12 or so.

He was also 27 in AA this year, 26 in A and AA last year. The numbers don't jump off the page at me in any way given the context.

Granted, it does look like he had TJ in 2021, so it could be a case of getting somebody on the way up. I don't know much about his arsenal or his makeup. Minor league rule 5 picks tend to be roster filler. These guys will likely just slot into Erie's bullpen and munch some garbage innings this year. No shame in that. Somebody has to.

yeah, maybe they see something that doesn't show up in the stats, but the stats themselves don't suggest that he belongs in the majors.  How many of these minor league rule 5 guys ever spend any significant time in the majors?  I don't follow it, but I imagine it's a fairly low percentage.

Starr can hit the upper 90' but is hittable, Coker low 90's but has more of a mix, both are just org fodder. I'd rather see them grab young guys who may have some development left, but I guess you need some of these guys also.

And/or a WHIP of less than 1.0.

A high K-Rate and a low-WHIP does it for me...

Although Harris has me now looking at K-BB ratio as well...
