It would be unusual for certain to be acquitted and then sentenced for contempt, but I don't think there is any legal impediment to it happening. These commenter's both said it was something that isn't ever crossed. Well.... according to lisa rubin apparently trumps guys did cross examine the witness and....... said the FBI planted info on the phones ?!?!?!?!?!
