Seattle had a 2-0 lead with the bases loaded and no outs. A DP got them to 3-0 and that was it for them. And then the Tigers offense exploded. Well done boys!!

So, the Tigers won't be playing on my birthday tomorrow, but they are still alive on my birthday.  That is my marker for a great season.  I'll celebrate on Friday.

Seattle has won all 3 games this season that Skubal started against them. Skubal was in the same exact situation last season, a deciding game 5 of the ALDS on the road. Skubal is due.....5-1 Tigers win and punch their ticket to the ALCS.

When we were down 3-0 I gave up and went to the nearby mall to sit in the corner and sulk and ended up following it on my phone. 

But when I got back home and clicked on YouTube TV, I was able to pick up where I left off and fast forwarded to the good innings. Ha!

The Finnegan double play was huuuge. The M's were up 2 and could have blown it wide open. He came in with bases loaded and no outs, and held them to 1 run.

I told my wife that if we hadn't won i would have sat in my darkened room clicking a light bulb on and off for the rest of the night.

I’m not superstitious but I am kinda stitious so I’m not starting the game 5 thread. Over the last couple of weeks when the same person started a game thread after a win, the Tigers lost. I’m not putting on that yoke.
