Can we all agree to go with Dicque to avoid the asterisks from now on?

How about Dikc?

A simple spelling error that avoids censorship...

I missed this the first time around, but this is pretty cool.

I thought the league office had precision time stamps on the replay cameras so they could have done this same analysis just looking at the timestamps. I guess maybe not....

the helmet as rotational clock was good thinking though.

It could be a competence issue, an uncertainty issue, or some other issue that led them to uphold the call.

Jomboy is a bit fast and loose with rules interpretations and prone to clickbait. Even with his analysis, you have some parallax effect.

I can't disagree, but his videos can be pretty darn fun.

The Valencia story was good while it lasted. I don’t know if his inability to stop steals was a bad game, or if it means his defensive abilities as a catcher are lacking. But I hope he finds a place in MLB with somebody if it turns out not to be us.

The Tiger OF as a whole has contributed a -4.3 bWAR season to date. Good for dead last in MLB.  Greene, Malgeri, and Meadows are the only OFs with positive WARs.

I wonder if they try Jobe as an opener for Framber for a few starts when he first comes back.  Framber has struggled in the first innings so maybe they give him a couple times through the rotation with an opener to see if that’s a mechanical thing or a preparation thing.  Let’s Jobe get some consistent innings rather than stick him in the bullpen exclusively

I'm on board.

With Javy coming back perhaps it's time to jettison Outman and even Vierling and bring up Clark for a potential spark. I like Vierling with his versatility but his career ops is .687 and ops+ is 91, and both of those would be much lower without 2024. Outman's highest ops+ at any stop since 2023 has been 52. Highest!

Put Javy at SS, Clark in CF and McGonigle at 3rd base. RF? I have no idea. Let Hinch play a few different guys out there to keep him happy. The problem is that I believe Harris wants Clark in Toledo for however long it takes for him to retain his rookie status. Sometime in mid-August. Possible draft picks are mire important to him than winning is?

So, guess which two 2026 Tiger hitters these are?

I think the first one might be Tork—I had posted an RISP table and he was up near 1.000.

Is the second one McGonigle? That would be the likely flip side surprise, although maybe not because of the strikeout totals … maybe Riley, then?
