lol...they wanted to try and win this year. And they aren't going to sign him. It was just a roll of the dice. Thankfully they play in a terrible division...and the offense seems to be much improved.

Gleyber seems to be ok..can pinch hit tonight and won't be put on the IL. McKinstry will be activated tomorrow or go back down for a few more rehab starts.

The value you get back was not significant enough to sacrifice contention in 2026. They signed Framber and wanted to win..

Trading him was a bad business move.

As soon as I saw "precautionary", I suspected there was trouble.  There are no minor pitching injuries.  They are back to pitching chaos again.  It worked the first time and it was fun.  Not so much fun now.

Trading him was a bad business move.

Pitchers are always a risk, but they absolutely made the right move.  Once they signed Valdez, there was no question keeping Skubal was the right thing to do.

If he comes back and pitches like himself for a couple of months he'll be fine. Anything less than that and you are probably right.
