So, hearing he had a CCW and then it lapsed?  How frequently do you have to renew a CCW in the state of Michigan that a man of his age would have one and it would lapse?   I have one in the state of Virginia which goes for 5 years.

This sounds like Michispin and not the actual story.    We shall see but either way this story is going away and nothing will happen.

As an aside, good on the UM program for having local law enforcement under their control to protect top players.   Definitely taking a page from the Ohio State book.

I heard from the Spartan board that he actually was shooting at Spartan players in the tunnel.

Both VA and MI require a CCW permit holder to be 21. He’s only 21 and 5 months old.

he's a young man who made a mistake that resulted in no harm to anyone.  its a nothingburger.

young people make mistakes.  it happens.

he didnt beat the shit out of somebody.  he didnt threaten anyone physically.  the only physical damage he's caused is to the mental well being of every person in the state of ohio by whoopong their asses last saturday, and quite frankly, he should be rewarded for that and not punished.

Ian Rappaport of NFL fame reporting Blake Corum is out for the year for knee surgery

Damn. Sucks for the team, but sucks even more for him. He was on his way to being a day two pick. RBs coming off a knee injury plummet.

He may consider returning to Michigan for his senior year if he thinks he can replicate his numbers from this year and put himself back up the draft board.

Until some other reporter reports this... this is still some goomba NFL reporter who still thinks Harbaugh is heading to Oakland.

He’d be a fool not to now that NIL is in play.  I can absolutely see him making over $1M next year to play at UM.    Thats more than he’d make next year as a 2nd or 3rd round pick.  The team should be favored to go to their 3rd straight playoff and he’ll have a great shot at the Heisman as well.

depends on the surgery. Something teams now consider 'routine' like and ACL and his stock maybe doesn't drop much - as per Jameson Williams.

He has to decide, can he make more with one year of NIL or try an NFL career now where there is no guarantee he gets drafted (I think he was probably a 3rd or 4th round guy before).   It's just a tough spot for him.
