You can't take a QB just to take a QB, that's how you end up with a Tua. If there are no good QB's then wait. Speaking of Tua, maybe that WAS the year the Lions should have taken a QB. Herbert is looking like the real deal.

I have no interest in taking any of the QBs with our first pick, take BPA with our 1st and WR with our second. 2023 looks to be shaping up much better for QBs with guys like Bryce Young, CJ Stroud and more. Since we're gonna suck next year too might as well wait and get a better guy while also building up the rest of the team first.

Trump was the one man who could have actively fought the anti-tax movement successfully. He didn't do squat. They had to pull teeth just to get him to make a lukewarm endorsement of the vaccine long after the fact. He never made any serious attempt at pushing *his* people in the positive direction and never took on any of fake reality peddlers in his own party or his buddies like Hannity at Fox. That's just the reality. Even at this late date - you think he might cut a pro vax PSA? You'd be kidding, right?

I’m in Charlotte, NC and I’m really surprised at how much more masks are a thing here than the Detroit Metro area. A lot of businesses require masks to enter.

I like Candelario for the next couple of years, but he doesn't seem like a player that needs to be signed long term. He is adequate both offensively and defensively, but doesn't hit quite well enough to offset further slippage in defense which may happen soon.

I would much rather have a coach who gets emotional after a tough loss, then the arrogant ass we previously had, who had his team quit on him and acted like we were lucky to have his presence. If some thing a few tears doesn't mean he's tough, then I think you are out of your mind. He got emotional because he's not going to lash out at his guys, he's not going to blame anyone and I think he knows he's dealing with something he can't fix right now. I'd much rather have him make his coaching mistakes now, than later. If he makes the same mistakes in Year 3, then I'll have an issue with it. His players play hard for the dude. It's better than the emotionless boob we had who actually would talk about his Patriots days to defend his bad coaching, when he had little to nothing to do with why the Patriots won. (Brady made them great and Belichick was a cheater).

I'm not sold on guys like Lamar Jackson being long term franchise QBs. Once their legs go, they start to lose value.

I run on a trail, paved, but a trail nontheless and I get annoyed when people on their bikes do not announce themselves until the very end. One guy that we see just rings his bell. We don't take up the whole pathway. Just announce "on your left", like Falcon did in Endgame. And do it when before you are on our heels.

I wear my old big-flappy-pocket cargo shorts on long bike rides because it doesn’t matter whether I sweat in them, but I do still wear more dialed-back smaller-pocketed cargo shorts out in public. I’m at the age where I’m not really concerned with subtle fashion faux pas.
