Another thing I don't like. More interleague play and fewer divisional games. If they don't care about divisional rivalries, then get rid of divisions and just take the top six teams in each league.

What also was "sad" was the prosecutor who tried to cover it up, who is now facing charges over it. It was also sad how the cops were concerned for the well being of the murderers. Lynchings were not just the murder of black people. It was the state sanctioned murders of black people and until video emerged this was headed down that way.

The Tigers got all their tanking in right in time to get Mize, Tork, Greene and Jobe before the end of the CBA. The lottery would have potentially changed all that. Now, the lottery potentially benefits the Tigers in the immediate future as their tanking days are over.

Really? Who is your 5? I think you need at least 8 starters going into the season. He could be a bullpen/depth guy even if he is not in the Opening Day rotation. I do expect a couple of our young guys to have injuries at some point. Even with a full Spring Training I would expect that. I like Tyler Alexander in the same role they've used him the last two years. 1. Mize 2. Rodriguez 3. Skubal 4. Manning Other than that, the options seem to be Tyler Alexander, Rony Garcia, Reese Olson, Joey Wentz. That's a lot of uncertainty. They still need 2 guys. One of them could be Peralta.

I would stay away from Peralta. Other than ERA, his numbers were pretty bad. I think they got lucky with him last year.

Depends on his asking price is.... he's great to have as a long relief option, but I suspect he may be asking for more than relief money.... either way, they would ideally have someone else as a 5th starter (ie. one of the Andersons, Pineida, etc.)

In public school in the seventh grade, I remember being taught evolution and I was surprised when one kid shouted out that it was all BS. It was surprising at the time because this kid was usually kind of laid back and joking all the time. It was the first time I had heard about this controversy. My parents taught me about religion, but it was never a big deal. They bought a chidren's Bible as a kid and I read it. My father told me there were some good lessons in there, but that it was just stories, not real.

How does the mechanics of a vote work? I assume previous proposals were voted on by everyone or does the exec community have the ability to not even let it get that far? If they can "block" it then how did an 0-8 proposal get to the players? We might be overthinking it. I mentioned before a good cop/bad cop scenario. The exec committee is just doing it's job and if they think the deal is still bad they can't in good conscience recommend a vote in favor but at the end of the day the players decide. It's sort of like an agent to an actor. THey could say "I don't think you should do the role for the lead in Police Academy 8 that's going to stream on Tubi over a minor role in this new marvel movie" but the actor can't resist the paycheck or other perk they might see.

I got super lucky with Wordle today. I had about 5 options for my last guess and picked the right one. Keeps my 100% success rate intact. Octo, not so much... Also, because I can't stop playing different varieties of this game, I recently discovered Survivle. The objective is not NOT get the word in six tries. The catch is, once you've eliminated letters, you can't reuse them. And once you reveal letters, you have to use those in subsequent guesses.
