  4. ive done that pff mock draft and the trade offers they give you for #2 are ridiculous (although not as ridiculous as the jets giving up 4 and 10 for 2, that will NEVER happen). like carolina would have trade me their entire draft next year and this year for #2. yeah, ok. is mike ditka running the panthers all of a sudden?

  5. Spring training means pratically nothing, but I think the Tigers have a chance to compete for the division title as their upside. At lot of things have to go right, but this is the first year in a long time there has been any hope.

  7. Yeah just went and looked at a Lebron's rookie year and he averaged 3.5 a game while Cade's at 3.6. I checked him out cause he was the first guy that came to mind when it came to being put in a high usage situation as a rookie with poor teammates.

  8. isiah had a few 9 or 10 turnover games when he was a rookie too. cade's handle hopefully will get better, but its tough for such a young guy to have the entire team on his shoulders.

  9. Cade's gotta cut back on the TOs, hopefully that'll come with experience and better players around him. I know I see seemingly 1 or 2 a game that get credited to him due to having to force things or being put in a tough position due to his teammates. Still though they have been a problem but other than that it's hard to be disappointed at all with his play the last few months.

  14. I am a proponent of 2nd amend rights but I don't see any advantage of making it easier for dumb ass people to walk around with a loaded gun. It should also be noted that the Police union was strongly against dropping the permit requirement.

  15. Basically we are arguing over a man with a supple brain and an incredible will to power against a guy who thinks Putin is the bee's knees. If that mattered at all. In any conflict, I'll take the smarter man.

  16. Rodriguez has really high spin rates. I can see why they added him to the 40 man roster. He has a lot of potential as a reliever if he doesn't make it as a starter.

  17. Can we all agree that Hunter Biden is an absolute fucking train wreck and just move on? He seems to have suffered the same kind of life as the idiot Kennedys of the next generations. You have to feel sorry for him, but you have to also admit that he is totally irrelevant to any intelligent political discussion about important contemporary issues. Totally irrelevant. Can we just move on?

  18. I felt about Clinton the way so many people feel about Trump: Why don't they see he is snake oil salesman? Now the huge difference is that Trump is a snake oil salesman who is also a terrible, malicious, bigoted, dangerous leader. Clinton was just a snake-oil salesman who was personally venal but otherwise not a horrible political leader. But the Dems still should not have allowed him to stay in office after lying to the GJ. And the tragedy was that as goofy as Al Gore was in public as a campaigner, he probably would have been a much more competent President than Shrub and likely would have been re-elected running as the incumbent. But the average Democrat will still never admit that the party was wrong. Granted Starr was wrong to have ever made it about sex, but as they say two wrongs don't make a right - though ironically in this case that is exactly what they did make - a GOP presidency.

  20. They were real, not like Rittenhouse, but I agree with the others that are the reasons were suspect. What was done to him is what he helped do to Monica Lewinsky during that whole fiasco which he was a part of so i shed no tears for him even if he was innocent. I see it as karma. I don’t care if he was just a lawyer doing his job. He could have gotten another job.

  21. I can't emphasize enough that EVERYTHING Trump says or does is for himself and only himself.

  22. That is possible, but it is also what men always say when they blame the victim. I know of several women who have been raped and they were very reluctant to say anything about it until much later because they were afraid of being blamed.

  23. No, the outrage is real. It violates the first rule of the white frat boy privilege social compact to actually be held to account for an evening when you intentionally got liquored up just so you you could act irresponsibly. Nothing more unfair than to pull the rug out from under that pillar of Ivy League institutionalism. Simply too cruel. (...oh, you mean the outrage on the *other* side?) Whether it was legally rape or not is probably lost in the fog of decades old drunkenness, but I'm not sure that was ever the real point.

  27. With the Panthers at 6, Falcons at 8, and Seahawks at 9, this Matt Ryan trade definitely helps the Lions trade prospects.

  28. Listen, you don’t have to go back to the 50s or even the 60s or 70s to find what work was like for women. In the early 80s when I questioned how one person in my group was promoted before I was, the answer my manager gave me was “well …. he has a family.” I’m serious.. He said this to my face. Not that I wasn’t justified not that I wasn’t qualified not that I didn’t deserve it, but because he had a family.

  29. Pretending Trump was concerned only for the American people is so precious. Fact is, Trump wants as close to a lawless frontier as he can manage, because his style of business wins in that environment.
