Interesting concept: Most Irrelevant Player on the 40. I think I'll go with Zach Short,1 point

I don't really care whether he's on the roster or not or how much they pay him, but given all the turnover and commitment to youth, it's a little surprising that they are going out of their way to keep him.1 point

You guys are forgetting that the Tigers have a defined bullpen role, Big Fat Righthanded Reliever, that needs to be filled and Cisnero has all the tools.1 point

Cossa has been named to the ECHL all star game. His save % is a touch low...but his GAA is solid.1 point

Muting all the Lavern Spicers, MTG, and Gaetz from the “for you” tab is pretty satisfying, but it’s basically a game of what-a-mole.1 point

I don't think Weaver is doing a bad job, it's a rebuild with a roster full of young players and a few supporting vets sprinkled in. Did you want him to make more "win now" moves? The biggest difference between OKC/Orlando and Detroit right now is that their stars are playing and in OKC's case their star has turned into a superstar, the Pistons star isn't playing. I don't know how many wins a healthy Cade would add (and lets be honest, he was clearly "not right" even when he played this season) but if he kept progressing, I bet they would have been where Orlando is now. In any event, if they aren't ready to take a step forward next season with a healthy Cade, with another top prospect in the fold, another year of experience for all the young guys and presumably some additions with their truck load of cap space then that points to a much bigger problem with the entire regime, Weaver and whoever the coach is.1 point

THye recently changed the format of feeds to "For you" and "following". It is along the top. Mine defaults to "For you". I keep having to change it to "Following". NOt sure if that's the same as the old "Latest Tweets" and "Top Tweet" where they tried to feed you what they think you want.1 point

Has anyone else’s Twitter feed become overwhelmingly conservative recently? I don’t follow any of them, but my feed is littered with posts from MTG, Boebert, Gaetz etc. I see these posts more than the people I actually follow. I could block them all, sure. But this is what Elmo has turned the app into.1 point

It's a couple pages late but in regards to Goff's arm strength. This past year he threw the 5th longest in air completion in the NFL and all time he has the 2nd longest throw since they've been measuring with a 67 yard in air completion. Also since they started measuring velo at the combine in 2008 only Josh Allen has thrown a higher velo than Goff among QBs that made it in the NFL of any significance. For reference Allen threw 62, Goff threw 59mph while guys like Herbert and Mahomes were in the mid 50s. On top of that he was in the top 3 for rating when throwing to the sidelines from the opposite hash which is the main throw where arm strength is needed. So You may or may not be able to argue his accuracy on deep throws but you can't question his arm strength, he has plenty of arm.1 point

Don't play billiards with that man! I though Berituzzi's play was promising. He was still a day late and a dollar short on his chances but he was playing with a lot of energy - looked more like his old self than before he got hurt.1 point

Hah!!! Absolutely! (I was always a crappy skater so it took a long time before I fell in love with my Dad's favorite game... but Yzerman/ Probert and company got me there...).1 point

They mic'd up Taylor in this one. Between the injuries, the media comments, and the trade rumors that plagued 2021, it was clear he didn't take the Penei selection well to start. Credit to Decker and to this coaching staff for persevering through that. He had a really, really nice season this year.1 point

Is there really such a thing as a clear indicator with Jim Harbaugh. The guy is an enigma. I do think he will be back but it wouldn’t surprise me to see him get a little jab back at Warde in the process.1 point

I don't think lots of wins was an expectation but, ideally, you want to see development, some improvement, a team that's developing an identity and this is a team that generally looks clueless on the defensive end and stagnant on the offensive end. At least some of that falls on coaching. Let me ask you then, did you expect them to make a big jump in the standings this season especially with Cade out? Do you think that Casey is the right coach to take them to the next level? I don't think Casey should be fired now but I do think they need to move on from him when they're more serious about winning which should be starting next season. If they don't make some significant improvements in the standings next season then Weaver should be on the hot seat.1 point
