I’ve never been so happy to get a large charge alert from my bank as I was this afternoon when the Lions withdrew money my wildcard tickets.

I have grown skeptical of his overall talent/upside but you got to love everything else about him. Hopefully he sticks around and doesn't bail on the franchise.

Last time I heard him talk Tigers prospects, it was rather rosy. Perhaps his pessimism the last decade or so has been validated by the results on the field?

About a week and a half ago I was on the hunt for a Jr. I stumbled into my local music store to find a Heritage H137 and it practically played itself. On Saturday I received a message from one of the guys at the store showing off their latest acquisition. Now I have to sell the heritage.

But he's likely not as involved in the community.

Another tough game tonight but fortunately they did some really nice things in the community today.

i went to law school with a guy who went to notre dame. good athlete but but not a great basketball player. his intramural team was tapped to scrimmage against notre dame's women's team - which was pretty good at the time - and they routinely routed them. wasnt even close. in a game built on being bigger, stronger, faster, and the ability to jump higher, men will always win.

no way. then theyre just terrible. this is the only way for change to happen. and theyre interesting. once they win they will be just another bad team. this is historic.

Imagine how good this offense will be when they have the option to pass on 2nd and long.

The thing about this game is that while I obviously want to win it a loss wouldn't be all that bad for the Lions cause I'd prefer Dallas get the 2 seed over Philly anyway. Even though Dallas plays great at home the Lions also play much better indoors vs. potentially nasty weather in Philly. Also I think Philly would have a better chance of upsetting SF in the 2nd round than Dallas which if everything plays out right could mean the Lions host a playoff game, play an indoor road game at Dallas, and then host the championship game. As long as we don't embarrass ourselves or most importantly get hurt this game is almost a no lose situation in my eyes.

The problem is they have a team capable of going through a long offensive drought. Instead of April, it could be 20 games in June instead. They need to get better offensive players in order to avoid that.

patrick mahomes is a much better qb than jared goff. no offense to jared goff. patrick mahomes is a much better qb than most qbs in the history of the nfl. we had the same argument about lamar jackson for the entire offseason. that argument seems to have quieted down a bit.

mahomes misses tyreek hill a lot more than eric bienemy. mahomes' loss was tua's gain.

One of my favorite radio bits was the jock who played the Barking Dogs version of Jingle Bells. Coming out of the record he acknowleged the local dogs who "left presents" on the lawn outside the studio. Immediately followed by sound effects of a gun going off several times. This lead into a local newscast, with the reporter trying to recover from laughter. You can't get away with that bit today
