I mean, after that Barnes INT Ben Johnson calls 3 straight runs for no gain.4 points

Plus imagine how good the team will be when other teams hire Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn and we don’t have to put up with their terrible play calls. 🫠4 points

So happy for all of you die hards. Enjoy today.4 points

It’s game day in late January and the Lions are on the schedule. Nice.4 points

I was talking to my dad just now. He's 75. He was 17 when the first Super Bowl was played. That's incredible to think how long some fans have suffered.2 points

If Ragnow and Jackson are both out we're in a whole lot of trouble.2 points

I can't tell you how good it feels not to be talking about tanking, draft position, and who are we going to draft at this point in the NFL season. I've looked at maybe one mock draft in the past month or so and it feels fantastic!2 points

If Brad and Dan stay on the current trajectory, it may not be a once in a lifetime chance.2 points

I'm a little puzzled by what SF is doing. They have a beast at RB and they're letting Purdy throw2 points

a home game would be nice, but i'd rather play brock purdy than jordan love.2 points

That Dan Miller call (with Lomas fanboying in the background) gave me the goosebumps. He's a treasure1 point

Lions have yet to trail in the playoffs.1 point

The Detroit Lions, OUR Detroit Lions, are in the NFC Championship game. For us long suffering Lions fan (I've been a fan since the late 80s), how sweet is this and how about Derrick Barnes making amends for that missed Dak safety by sealing it. What a time to be alive.1 point

The mother of all Dan Miller play by play calls (until next week I hope!) Fhe clinching INT. Lions Beat Tampa On Clinching INT.m4a1 point

This is why teams shouldn't take a RB so high in the draft.1 point

Chris Collinsworth is so annoying1 point

The 2nd and 3rd down calls were terrible but ultimately we get the TD. I just HATE HATE HATE throwing from the 2 yard line when you have a good running game. It's usually a low percentage pass due to the condensed field and too many bad things can happen like a sack, holding penalty or interception. Running the ball bad things can happen like fumbles and the aforementioned holding but much less likely to happen than passing.1 point

That's Wright play looks just like the play against the Jets last year.1 point

And Gibbs gets to the edge.1 point

We have not seen a lot of Gibbs today. He hit the edge a few times earlier. I’d like to see him more involved.1 point

That was a sucky ending to the first half. I didn't enjoy it. Would not recommend.1 point

Yes sir! There is a drive. Goff looked much better. They threw it down their throat.1 point

There we go!!! Touchdown Lions!1 point
-
3 straight quarters without a touchdown. At least Cabinda is getting touches though. Offense has got to add some wrinkles to it. They aren’t getting any chunks and Goff is off.1 point
-
lol he's not even listed on the bet slip as an option.1 point

You know, whatever happens, this season was a success. Win or lose today we got to all see how much of a football town Detroit really is. This is just the start, people, get used to it!!1 point

I think if Jack Harbaugh wins a second Super Bowl, he will feel he has accomplished all he can do in the NFL and will have a burning desire to win a college football title to match his brother. I smell a swap.1 point

And it's all so stupid. It's sports for freaking sakes and Kelly is on some other planet. You are supposed to have fun with playing the bad guy in enemy territory - if you can't do that stay the hell at home. And again - family and children on the field after the game is the celebration for the winners. That's part of what you earn by winning between the lines. If you lose the game best to just vacate the field. Airhead.1 point

I think this is probably right. I was responding to the idea, expressed here across many pages, that the new Tiger brain trust are cheap-asses playing unnecessary hardball with players, with the implication that they might drive away players in the future because players don’t want to play for a cheap-ass hardballing front office. I don’t think that will be the case, and i believe if there’s animosity between Mize and the org, it would have probably preceded this episode anyway.1 point
