God I LOVE this team. I LOVE this coach. I’ll try to upload my video of the final kick later when I have reliable WiFi. But THIS TEAM!!!! This was a top five greatest game of my Lions lifetime.5 points

GB’s coach is such a turd. Makes me proud that we have Dan Campbell4 points

The Packers may have downgraded when they went from Rodgers to LaFleur.3 points

This is the most incredible season I've ever seen in Detroit sports. 84 Tigers were something...but this is fricking amazing3 points

Tim Patrick deserves a game ball for sure.3 points

They should. Even though we know it's coming, we should. J6 (including everything that came before and after) is a huge stain on this country.3 points

If they do make massive cuts in order to save money, they will affect people including MAGAs. There is some waste in government and I have always been in favor of making selective cuts here and there across the board (not easy to do!), but I think people will find that cutting entire departments and firing thousands of employees would have undesired and unexpected effects that are going to hurt people that they know. It won't hurt the wealthy though. They'll be fine.2 points

Packers are 7-2 in their last 9. Their 2 losses are to the Lions.2 points

The NFL keeps giving up these terrible boring Thursday night games2 points

Love Campbell and I completely agree with the call. Too often teams kick the FG, only to see the opposing team go right down and tie it back up or even win it with a TD. Go for the kill and trust the strength of your team!2 points

I hope Cardinal & TP are screaming their ass off! Nice hold by the D.2 points

I don't think winning at Seattle is a given. I do hope they can at least beat Minnesota. It would be nice if they can knock out Minnesota so the Lions can rest that game.1 point

Just looking at points they pretty much have the same career trajectory so far: D+1 Buch 2 points in 10 KHL games, lots of minors games Berg 3 points in 16 SHL games D+2 Buch 29 points in 55 KHL games Berg 12 points in 24 SHL games D+3 Buch (so far) 29 points in 32 KHL games Berg 45 points in 49 SHL games Despite his size it seems like Buch goes into dirty areas more than Berggren likes to so hence my evaluation. I don't think he's super likely to be better than Burgers just that there's a chance.1 point

My brother was visiting my mom in Sarnia and says Lions merch is all over town. On the shelves and on the backs of people wearing it. Lots of Bluewater Bridge traffic on gamedays from people heading over to Ford Field.1 point

A lot of talk about starting lineup changes after JB's "starters need to be ready to start" comments from last game. I agree about the Ivey/Beasley switch. Here's the starting lineup I'd roll with: Cade Beasley Thompson Harris Stew Get your two best defenders in the starting lineup. Spacing is about the same as before, maybe better if Thompson's small sample size 33% is to be believed and if Stew gets back to taking a few more. Let Ausar be the DHO hub in the same way you used Duren and get him into that Draymond role. He's a better passer than Duren, has a higher IQ, and can actually attack out of that spot far more easily to keep defenses honest. That said, the org has to decide who they want to trade between Stew and Duren and start that person. The other is your bench Center when you bring in a legitimate starter, so you're not worried about hurting their value by benching them and you might as well get them accustomed to their forever role.1 point

I think you have to look at these decisions in the context of how the game had played out. Our defense was decimated and exhausted, they were on the field alot in the 2nd half and while doing the best they could they still gave up 24 points and showed no ability to stop GB from driving down the field. On top of that Branch left the previous series injured so he may not have been ready either. If you have a chance to end the game right there and not make your defense go back out there on their last legs you do it.imo GB's kicker has a monster leg, they would've only needed 25 yds to be in FG range, then if they make that you are dependent on a coin flip in ot. Bottom line the reward outweighed the risk to me which is why I was all for the call.1 point

Wish the fans would start Tarik Skubal chants at random Detroit sports events. He's not quite that level of transformational figure though. Detroit has had Cy Young winners but we have not had a great QB since the days of Charlie Ba...oh, who am I kidding, it was a three game stretch when Dave Kr...sheesh. Not in my lifetime have we had a great QB.1 point

I love how this team doesn't let things spiral out of control. The Packers hit them with a quick TD to start the second half. The Lions then throw and INT and the Packers get another quick score. Before you know it, the Lions are down. Lions teams of the past would have let that snowball.1 point

Lions hold the tiebreaker currently due to conference record. Both of the Eagles losses came to an NFC team. A loss to Buffalo and they still hold the tiebreaker.1 point

Ivey fans about to kill me. But I think he should move to the bench and let Beasley start. This isn't a Killian thing, Beasley is arguably the teams second best player after Cade. It also is not a punishment for Ivey. I think he has some issues but has been fine for the most part. This is about Beasley and not about Ivey. They both shoot about the same from three but Beasley makes double the three's that Ivey does. That will help Cade. That will help with the slow starts from the starters. Ivey will get the same amount of minutes he does now, just at different points in the game. Going against other bench players will only help his stats. JB should tailor the end game minutes based on what the team needs. Cade has it going on then leave Beasley out there for the shooting. Cade is being doubled and struggling? Put Ivey in to help a bit with the ball handling. I would also bench Hardaway and probably start Fontecchio. Maybe Thompson if want more defense. Hell, pick a random fan from section 124 if you want.1 point

I suppose there are statistics out there justifiably contending Comerica Park isn’t that bad of a hitter‘s ballpark, but I don’t know if hitters themselves feel that way and are tripping over themselves to come here. Nick certainly blossomed when he left here. of course that’s a small sample size. I’m not going all Lynn Henning in on this, but I think this place might be a tough sell for a hitter, even with changes made to the park. You’d really have to be all in on “the idea of the Tigers“ and the future and while that might work for us, I don’t know how that plays to hitters themselves. I could easily be wrong about this because I am clearly a moran.1 point

I know you guys wont believe this. But the Hawk Tuah girl ran a Crypto scam. I think I read it lost 90% of its value in 20 minutes or something crazy like that. Insiders trading when they shouldn't be, etc etc. She is once again famous for going down.1 point

This was a great catch by Chet Lemon. Leaping over the fence to catch it was cool, but what elevates it is Chet having the confidence and presence of mind to pause, look into the camera and call his shot right during the play. 🙂1 point
