It’s very Tigers-esque, isn’t it. By my count, Wings had 13 wins in 34 games under Lalonde but already 14 wins in 19 games under McLellan. Including since Dec 29 both a 7 game win streak and now a 6 game win streak.

So the "trade him, then re-sign him in the off-season" unicorn has finally made an appearance. I love this signing, btw.
