If you're like me you will find this to be great news, Woj just said that this year he won't be tweeting out the picks before they are announced so people can instead find out when they are actually announced on the podium.

Tork had a dreadful March/April with a 56rc+ but since then he put up a 122 in May and has a 126 in June to push his season number to 97 with 100 of course being league average.

BTW speaking of new posters I guess reddit is having major issues with many of their sub forums, if it keeps up I wonder if we will get an influx of new posters. I hope so cause I'd love to have more people around here assuming they aren't trolls.

That 2014 Tigers team was absolutely loaded on paper, it's not hard to believe that they got swept cause that can happen to anybody but it is hard to believe that they didn't win more. On offense they had prime Miggy, Victor(2nd in MVP), Kinsler(5+WAR), JD's breakout season, Hunter, Castellanos, a half season of Austin Jackson and Donnie Kelly Baby. And of course we all know about the ridiculous pitching staff. From what I can recall though that was the year that they signed Nathan and he sucked, they then traded for Soria who proceeded to blow some games as well. Still though with all that talent and playing in a weak division you think they'd be able to win more games than they did.

I'm sure we would've been better off since it's hard to see things being any worse than how it played out with Avila but DD seemed to be losing his magic the last year or so he was with us. He made the great Fielder for Kinsler swap but after that it felt like every move he made turned out to be a disaster up until he left.

How come OSU is so much higher than Michigan since UM has a bigger stadium and I presume they have the same tv rights fees. Is it more revenue from non football sports or do they have more/ better licensing deals and/or sell more merchandise? Or is it something else completely?

As bad as we think we have it atleast we're not the Royals. I guess these are all guys they got rid of last year or two.

Seriously though if I felt the team lost respect for Hinch or didn't play hard for him then Id probably be fine firing him but I dont think that is the case. Aside from some fluke incidents they seem to always bust their ass and fight as hard as they can but they just don't have the ability of their opponents.

If we save their butts and agree to do another season Hard Knocks then between that and allowing them to play a game at Ford Field the NFL owes us big time.

I never got why it was ok for players to play fantasy football. Like I heard commentators say during the game stuff like "I talked to player x during the game and he has player y(on the opposing team) on his fantasy team" Like even if it's a free league it still feels like a conflict of interest since competitive people will take even free leagues seriously.

I guess we're all just old or the tigers injury curse has now reached its fan base cause I think I have some sorta rotator cuff injury. Been going on for a few years now but I can't make any overhand throw without major pain/range of motion issues but have no problem throwing a 16lb bowling ball dozens of times a week. Since I dont play baseball or softball anymore and it doesn't effect my real life at all I haven't bothered to go get it checked out.

I actually saw a couple out rollerblading the other day, much to my surprise though they were wearing airpods and not a Sony Walkman like I would've expected.

This has nothing to do with anything but I was box score scouring and Luis Arias of the Brewers triple slash totally stuck out to me. It is .045/.276/.091, he only has like 20 ABs so it's a total SSS but I never seen anything like that before even in a small sample.

I think it's a matter of time before one or both of the Thompson twins will be getting some fluff pieces like that.
