  1. I say it every year but they need to ban chest passes and under hand throws in the Dr. Pepper challenge.
  2. I think even the defender wasn't sure if he should pick it up or not, it looked like he was looking at the sideline to see if it was ok before grabbing it. The only downside of a player picking it up in that situation would be if an LSU player clobbered him right when he grabbed it forcing him to not pick it clean then they would've gotten the ball back otherwise there was no risk in grabbing it.
  3. The Lions officially activated Jaymo today, it didn't say whether he was going to play tomorrow or not just that he is now eligible to. One would assume they wouldn't have done it unless they were planning on him playing though. Either way whether its this week or next he's going to be out there soon and I can't wait.
  4. Unlike most other years under the 4 teams playoff where 3 or more of the teams had a case to be in the championship game this year assuming UGA and UM win there is just them two so this is one of those years where you wish you were back in the old system.
  5. Can a bad Michigan performance and strong LSU performance possibly keep OSU out? Like if UM looks like crap that makes OSU's loss look worse, meanwhile if LSU puts up a big fight against UGA that makes Bama's OT loss at their place look that much better.
  6. It's crazy to me that Horford was in the same draft as Durant, yeah I know Horford is older but it just feels like Horford has been in the league forever and Durant while being a veteran that's been around doesn't feel like he's been around forever like Horford has.
  7. Stupid TO by Utah, they had plenty of time to clock it before the clock started running.
  8. I'll give the Rangers credit, atleast they are spending a bunch of money after getting a publicly funded stadium to replace a stadium that wasn't even 25 years old.
  9. Off topic from the game but I see the old 76 gas station as a sponsor on the field, I didn't even realize they were still a thing, perhaps there more popular in the west cause I can't remember the last time I saw one here in Michigan.
  10. Should've gone for it on 4th down, go for the kill, worst case scenario the Utes are backed up and have to drive 97 yards.
  11. Killian will bust out a game like this once a month or so and it gives the slappies false hope but I learned my lesson after the first couple times he did it.
  12. Cade to Iowa. Seems like an odd choice considering how terrible they are on offense but atleast he knows he'll be starting.
  13. The most realistic scenario is we get destroyed by injuries next year and are bottom feeders all year, we take solace in knowing that atleast Caleb Williams is at the end of the tunnel but in week 18 with all the number 1 pick marbles on the line with the Packers we win that game because of we for once in our life were the "benefactors" of some obscure call. Then of course the Packers get Williams he goes on to be Peyton Manning and our qb becomes Ryan Leaf. Such as life as a Lions fan.
  14. Sounds like Jameson needs to spend his offseason in the Tigers clubhouse so he can build up his ping pong game.
  15. With the draft being in Detroit in 24 it would be fitting for us to land our potential franchise altering qb there.
  16. Or we could get real lucky and the team that we trade with ends up picking number 1 next year so we don't need to trade up.
  17. I was wondering about JJ as an NFL prospect, my first thought was that he even if he cleaned up his throwing he seemed too small but he's listed at 6'3 200lbs, I know you take those listings with a grain of salt but if he is even close to those numbers that's plenty big enough in todays NFL.
  18. I wouldve rather took a flyer on Clevinger at 12 like the Sox did than Boyd at 10. Of course the Tigers may have tried and he just preferred Chicago instead.
  19. Its funny how seemingly any Tigers player that makes a positive change does so from a private instructor outside the organization. I imagine the answer is no but is it like that for other teams?
  20. With Rodgers looking broken and finally showing his age watch it be the Packers that get Williams so they can go from Favre, Rodgers and Caleb and basically have a franchise qb for almost half a century. God I just threw up in my mouth thinking of that.
  21. If this was 2024 and we had to give that up to move up 1 spot to draft Caleb Williams I would strongly consider it just cause I think he is that special and a special qb is worth his weight in gold but this year I just don't see it with any of the guys. They COULD be special but I don't have enough faith to give up a bounty for them.
  22. In a perfect world he wouldve retired but I think Miggy would be OK if used sparringly or in situations where you need a hit cause he still has relatively good bat on ball and batting average skills but when tasked to play nearly everyday he has shown every year for the past half decade plus that his body just can't hold up to it and his production and value plummets as the year goes on.
  23. I read something yesterday that said that Mike McDaniel ripped up hundreds of plays for Tua and completely simplified and tailored everything he could to maximize his abilities. Between that and having two speedsters that can create seperation and are major YAC guys in Hill and Waddle and it's easy to see how he is having the success he has had this year.
