Meanwhile, Minnesota was slightly below league average in both measures. And Detroit took the regular season series 8-4, outscoring the Twins a cumulative 83-58. They could be the last baseball team on the planet after a nuclear strike that I survived and I wouldn't root for them. You don’t hear as much about Leon Durham’s error in Game 5 of the 84 NL Championship Series. Durham let the ball go right through his legs and it costs the Cubs. The other options were they play their games at Comiskey or Busch. Baseball didn’t want to lose the revenue of World Series night games for games 1 and 2 and a 6 or 7.
