Bottom line for Mize is what it has always been - he does not throw a great swing and miss FB. so he can't get away with mistakes. Maybe if he commands it better up high there is still some potential there, but in general Casey has to hit the corners with his FB to be effective. When he misses a lot he's going to look like he looked tonight - a lot of struggle. Now to his credit, Mize has a knack for struggling a lot and still not giving up that many runs - which is not nothing. I mostly agree with this. Will say that, even setting the stuff aside, Manning impresses me with his killer instinct on the mound.
