  1. Past hour
  2. Mize gonna be at least a month as well no doubt.
  3. for sure if not now, probably never.
  4. Hopefully they get it done with Campbell. This was the same plan and the same reasoning the Ravens tried with Linderbaum though that led to a bad team with lots of money backing up a Brinks truck. Granted, a center’s relationship to a quarterback is not comparable to an off-ball linebacker.
  5. I'd guess a multiple month injury.
  6. That went right over his head though.
  7. Pretty good underlining numbers for Perez. Maybe this will get him going.
  8. I think the Hawks are turning into a pumpkin.
  9. Is this a bad thing? Michigan gas prices jump most in U.S.; analysts warn of $5 gasoline https://share.google/Ydldu88H3SVnxsfxq
  10. Looked at ticket prices on Stubhub. Pretty much every ticket in the 200 level is under $70 for tomorrow. Both ends are mostly in the high $50's.
  11. Wenceel to center field! Nice shot!
  12. Philly showed a little fight tonight. I never expected that series to go 6 games.
  13. Boo, I fell for a parody account. I thought I had double checked. But then the tweets started becoming even more outlandish.
  14. I have gone over this before. But not moving Harris is one of the biggest blunders Langdon has made since taking over. The Pistons are expected to operate as a team over the cap this summer. That means when Harris becomes a free agent this summer his $25 million will come off the books, but it won't create a single penny of new cap space. So they get a hole to fill without adding any resources to fill it because they are still over the cap. People will say bring Harris back, but with his performance in the playoffs I don't think that is a very attractive option now. They really needed to move him for a player that had a deal that extended out past this summer. Or a guy who would be a free agent this summer they wanted back and could use his Bird rights to do so. That is how you manage a roster and the salary cap. But the decided against all that so Harris could vibe and shoot 14% from three in the playoffs. Sweet.
  15. I could see them calling up Trei Cruz before Max Clark becasuse Trei is on teh 40-man. Also, if Mize has to take 10 days off, wouldn't they just activate JV? Javy's fine. A couple of gummies and he'll be good to go.
  16. Holding out for a hero (Bert) in the ninth.
  17. Billy Martin was hired by Texas after Detroit fired him, in season. And in 1975, when Texas fired him, he took over the Yankees. Lol Jeez...reading about Billy. So interesting. One of the times he got fired from the Yankees, he was replaced by Bob Lemon, who had just been fired by the WSox. They don't make them like Billy Martin anymore...
  18. Who replaces Javy? 1B: Tork 2B: Torres 3B: Lee/Keith SS: McGonigle RF: Perez/Workman or Jung CF: Vierling/Perez LF: Greene DH: Jones/Carp Only real options I see making sense would be Workman or Jung to play RF against righties. Jung is on the 40 and Workman isn’t, so he probably gets the nod. Clark would obviously fit the roster better, but don’t see that happening. Julks to play RF against lefties seems like a waste of roster spot. Mckinstry still a few weeks away.
  19. It's low on list of grievances but the "First Host" just rendered himself obnoxious again.
  20. Im not how accurate that Free Press article was anyway. Looking into it, several teams have recently acquired players that helped them win a championship. https://www.nba.com/news/6-recent-trades-that-helped-fuel-nba-championships
  21. Buck Rodgers in 1991. AI started hallucinating after that... Duroscher did it twice.
  22. Im sure there has to be managers who got fired during a season and got hired somewhere else. My guess would be Billy Martin?
  23. Today
  24. I found the last time it happened, and Dave Dombrowski was the one who fired the manager who went elsewhere.
