  1. Past hour
  2. I think they should now know who needs to get paid (ausar) and who needs to have someone else pay them (duren).
  3. seems right except for stew's minus 11. but that could be garbage time and him being saddled with playing too many minutes with jenkins.
  4. Charlie Campbell has us taking Keldric Faulk in his latest mock. I've had a feeling if they take a DE/Edge it will be Faulk. Id be happy with an Edge/DE in the first, but would prefer an offensive lineman, more specifically a tackle. If they take a DE/Edge, Faulk is not my first or second choice due to his production or lack thereof in college.
  5. I hope the young goalie talk is just keeping his cards close to his chest. I don't blame him if so, you don't want to appear needy to trade if you want to try to unload one so you get as close to fair value as possible. And theoretically you could motivate all of them to train hard and play hard in training camp to make the team by saying it isn't even guaranteed one will make the NHL team. But deep down I can't imagine a scenario where it doesn't make sense to have Cossa (or hell Postava if you want to go purely results based merit) play as a backup in the NHL next season outside of his head falls off during these playoffs or something disastrous.
  6. I will say, Charlie Campbell has been pretty good at identifying who the Lions are interested in. He is definitely plugged into someone at Allen Park.
  7. I don't think that's unexpected. If you've had that type of surgery, you feel sort of like Frankenstein for a while.
  8. Every bit of news today is even more of a smokescreen than every bit of news leading up to today. I don’t expect Brad to trade up today. If he does it would probably be because a defensive player like Downs slides down to the teens.
  9. Unless the court rules the legislature did an end run and skirted the state constitution in an effort to get the special election on the ballot. For the record, I voted yes. More in response to the maneuvers in Texas, Florida, Missouri and Florida than anything else. Personally I would prefer multiple representative districts, but that ain't happening any time soon
  10. Unpossible. Borom is the starting tackle.
  11. The voters spoke. This should be an easy case to win. Totally unconstitutional.
  12. Moros I says that, if anything, McGonigle may have been “under hyped”.
  13. Which is why the AG race which a lot of people including my wife thought was a lost cause (interesting to use that term about something in Virginia) was so damn important. Jay Jones is a freak and shouldn't be the AG but he's definitely filling an important role and could salvage his reputation with a successful defense of the referendum.
  14. The most interesting thing I heard at the press conference was Todd saying that if Lucas Raymond took 100 more shots on goal, with his shooting percentage, he would be a 40 goal scorer. He scored 25 this season and his career high is 31 so far. Todd also said, about the 2C role, something like “I guess that’s the role that Copp ended up playing,” suggesting that he was playing out of position due to lack of talent. Todd and Stevie agreed that Marco’s slump had to do with him being asked to play too many roles (due to lack of talent). They still seem high on him and Danielson. Stevie seemed more subdued than last season’s presser. He acknowledged that throughout the season he and Todd didn’t believe they were as good as their record but he felt like they had done enough to justify the Faulk trade. He was clearly discouraged by the collapse, but he did not seem totally surprised by it. He kept appealing to his own experience to say to people like Larkin and others that it is harder than you think to get over the hump.
  15. In nearly every mock draft I've seen Blake Miller should be available at #17. Blake Miller seems like an absolute road grader, who loves the game of football. A Dan Campbell guy, who will run through walls for the love of the game. Now, mock drafts by analysts aren't a science by any means at all and teams boards look all kinds of different. Most mocks get an incredible amount of pick incorrect. But if there is a strong belief that Blake Miller will be available at pick 17, I see no need to trade up for Proctor and give up additional draft assets when we have so many needs. That's just my uneducated view though.
  16. My prediction, Brad will do something nobody expects. Pretty safe bet.
  17. The ball never touched the ground. I don't understand/agree with that rule.

  21. no panic; IF he hits his ceiling he will be the best OT in this class
  22. Some on/off numbers for individuals. These are per/100 possessions. Cade - +38.7 Duren - +1.4 Harris - +1.6 Robinson - +16 Green - -0.3 Thompson - +37.3 Stewart - -11.6 Jenkins - -26

  24. I wonder if he's feeling too much weight of people expecting him to be the next hotshot prospect (after Clark of course)? Of course, maybe I'm reading way too much into it but his K numbers are AWFUL so far this young season. Striking out at a 43.4% clip. (23 Ks in 53 PA)
  25. Not to instill panic, but Charlie Campbell is reporting the trade up target may be Proctor.
  26. And…. and… the Tigers will score 6 runs! BOO YAAAAH!!
