i'm not deflecting anything. i think people get really up in arms when other teams cheat and dont care when their team cheats. ask the 1940 tigers about stealing signs on an institutional level. do you hate the tigers as an organization because they were cheating? the only difference between that team and the astros was the astros had modern technology. i dont excuse the astros. i think they should have been punished and they were. but im not going to hold it against everyone on the team or organization forever. seems silly and nothing but "holier than thou" bs, imo.

yup - the progressives carried the Dem narrative through most of the Trump years but they are getting serious pushback from the more "mainstream" side worried about building out the coalition enough to overcome the structural advantages the GOP enjoys. The Dems have to win several % more than 50% to hold power in Washington and the realization that all the "demographic inevitability' talk that the Dems thought meant life was going to get easier has turned out to be BS. The progs don't like the idea they have to trim their sails to bring in people they don't like anyway, but the other side risks becoming nothing more than a replay of Bill Clinton's "GOP Lite" if they can't do better than Manchin's and Sinema's bottom lines. That push/pull is generating lots of heat currently. And since the Dems have lots of liberal arts majors in the tent on both sides, we get lots of words..

Also just keep in mind this is the same guy who bet a buddy 100.00 the Lions would win more than 5 games this year....not looking that great for me.

Except, by all reports, Tork was NOT doing fine at 3B. I'd rather not mess with his head. Why would we do that? If he's very comfortable at 1B, then leave him at 1B. He's our biggest hitting prospect and we're going to try and force him to play 3B? When we have other options? Makes no sense to me whatsoever. I'd rather play Paredes at 3B; than Schoop at 1B (adequate maybe?) and Tork at 3B (not very good there) and a weaker player at 2B. I have to disagree with you on this, bigly. Because that also makes no sense to me whatsoever. Cabrera at 1B doesn't bother me, if Tork needs a day off or a half day off (DH); otherwise, leave him where he's most comfortable, where he's least exposed (more RH hitters hitting baseline screamers than LH'ed hitters), and actually a decent fielder from what he's shown so far: 1B. Not 3B.

I want Edvinsson. He and Sieder anchoring the 1 and 2 defense pairings could make the Wings heII to play against. But I don't think he'll be there.
