Instead of making COI rules just run both ways equally and apply to men as well as women, they relaxed them for spouses in the name of womens' rights, but that is a crock. I share your view that I don't have any feelings about him as a person one way or the other. Usually when elderly public figures, even ones that I liked, reach the end (which he probably hasn't), I typically start reflecting on my own life. When I think of Thomas, I think of 1991 which was a good time in my life. I was at my peak athletically, the Tigers were hitting the ball hard and I had plenty of time to enjoy it! Seriously, that is how I remember him. Strangely, when I think of Anita Hill, I think of my current life since we work in the same department (We have had only a couple of very brief conversations over the years). So, in a way, I associate Thomas with a more youthful time in my life and Hill with my current old age. 😃

Chet has skills that haven’t been seen before from a 7 foot with a slight frame. He can do things that make you stop and rewind to figure out if what you just watched was real for someone that size. Still, I am not sure how any of his game translates into the NBA. For as much skill as he has, the only thing that really projects is the same as all the other tall, lanky sticks that have come before him, shot blocker that can help on defense. He’s got to put on weight but he’s heard that since he was 14 and it hasn’t happened. Hard to trust that it ever will. I see him as a guy that can find a role and play a long time in the league but I’m not sure he’s star material.

Outside of a handful of songs, I don't listen to rap or hiphop. I went on the hunt for new music to listen to outside the boundaries of what I normally listen to genre-wise. I got hooked up with a rap song called They Reminisce Over You by artists named Peter Rock & CL Smooth. I had never heard the song nor of either artist. Real solid stuff!

LOL - I guess if people like to hear the sound of a stylus scrapping vinyl as the perfect background to their music because they were conditioned to it for decades, that's their business, but please stop with the silly attempts to justify the sound as a better reproduction. OTOH, I will grant that the loss of LP cover art and good liner notes has been tragic.
