But people can age and have less stamina without having dementia. And it's crazy offensive when people spend so much time trivializing that condition all for political point scoring. Especially for those who have to deal with the condition within their family. And when they conflate aging with dementia, which is also wildly offensive and ageist.

Yeah, I doubt dementia would even be much more of a disqualifier to those that haven’t figured out that narcissistic sociopathy is already enough. 🙄

i'm not apoplectic at all. the only thing really unexpected is the rash of injuries. you had young pitchers and rookie position players and the expectations for them to do very well were outsized. you built a team on young pitching and - surprise! - it got hurt and is inconsistent. welcome to baseball. i expect tork and greene to be fine in the long run. greene looks really promising. tork needs some work but he's still really young. they arent going to be in their primes for another 6-7 years. al avila has been your general manager since 2015. to expect success from this now is a fool's errand. the changes everyone lauded about the system of acquiring and developing talent were only recently implemented. it will take time to show results.

I think defense is underrated. If you have great defense, it can turn an average staff into a good one. With all the strikeouts in today's game, it matters less than it used to. but it's still important.

He could indentify an elephant in a picture! My father who was 94 at the time also passed the same test. My mother who had pretty advanced dementia at the time took the same test and was able to answer half the questions.

Now, a Saudi official has said Biden didn't ask about Jamal Khashoggi. You can't trust a word that any Biden says. Joe really needs to take a cognitive test. He is unfit for office and certainly should not have access to nuke codes. Biden's handlers won't let him take one because he can't come close to passing. At least Trump took a cognitive test and passed.
