  2. How many days before he gets churned? For what it's worth, he has some really good K/IP ratios.

  3. Lions are in a good position at 6. Either there will be a run on QBs and the Lions will have their choice of top defenders in the draft, or they will be able to trade back and acquire multiple picks. There really doesn't seem to be a downside. It's like Holmes 1st draft where Sewell slid down to 7.

  6. You were lied to for longer than that at old Tiger stadium. The CF fence there was only 420, not 440 as it was marked. CF hadn't been 440 since they moved the fence in front of the flag pole, which was maybe 35 yrs before it closed in 1999.

  8. Draft lotteries serve no purpose, and absolutely do not have any effect on their intended function. They were created for the worst of reasons; to address a perception.

  9. Depending on how the board plays out we could be in a prime spot for a trade down. If mocks are to be believed as of now there appears to be 4 1st round graded qbs so as long as 1 of them is still there at our pick there is a decent chance any team wanting a qb will be open to moving up to secure one of them.

  11. This organization is all about player development. Holmes must have mentioned it 5 times in his talk yesterday. Instead of focusing on what’s lacking in his game tape, how about what shows up. He’s electric with the ball in the open field. He’s sensational catching the ball out of the backfield and making people Miss especially in red zone. These are skills that cant be taught. He’s scored 25 TD in 40 games many of which have been pointed out he touched the ball less than 10 times. The talent level is off the charts and he has proven to be a flat out playmaker. He needs additional development and I don’t see this organization giving up on that without exhausting all efforts. Everything Holmes talks about would lead to staying the course and relying o the coaches to get him to that next level. If attitude and work ethic were issues then I could see the team moving on from him now. He appears to be a guy with a good attitude and plays for the team. It seems like he’s coachable as he’s made improvements this year and Duce would’ve run him out already if he wasn’t.

  14. I'm all for a trade down. Give Holmes more picks. I used to be one of those who felt 5th and 6th round picks were expendable but then Holmes went and drafted Rodriguez and Houston in the 6th round so I even encourage picking up late round picks.

  25. I hate the concept of 3rd jerseys, period. Except for maybe 1 or 2 times per year, max. If I am paying $150 to go to my one or two games per year, take some pre-game photos and such, I want the Wings in their proper classic jerseys.

  29. I'm starting to like Kerby Joseph. Colton Pouncy @colton_pouncy Kerby Joseph on Aaron Rodgers: "If that's his last pass, I'm saving that ball and I'm sending it to him so he can sign it. If he don't sign it, I'll understand. But I doubt he's gonna retire. He's probably gonna try to come back, and if he comes back, more plays for me." 1:10 AM · Jan 9, 2023

  31. It is a great cover! Not for nothing, one of my musician pet peeves are guitarists who leave tuners on the top of their headstocks. I think perhaps a lot of people think it makes them look like they're better musicians than they are. Others are most likely just lazy. Take the dang thing off and put it on a mic stand or buy a discreet one.
