I imagine he's still playing in the SHL next season but still very cool Grand Rapids also won their first playoff series.2 points

Frankly, I hope he's not listening to anybody on Twitter.... the amount of anger he generates, geez, even if he turns it around I'm not sure he'll ever be accepted here.2 points

Ceasefire agreement excellent news on Holocaust Remembrance Day. Trump's fans will be outraged at this.2 points

more of this please... what I'd really like to see is former cabinet level members but I doubt that would happen.2 points

The jerseys are OK... I really do not like the hats though. Mostly I'm with Rob though, I really don't care much one way or another. I'd rather they just wear what they have always worn (except with the correct "D" on the front)2 points

In all seriousness, I'm aware, and Maton didn't end up a viable replacement. But the commentary around that particular deal tends to lack context.... one reason being that Gregory Soto isn't that valuable of a commodity and has demonstrated that in a Phillies uniforim for the most part, the second being that despite Maton and Donnie Sands leaving the organization, the one remaining player from the deal has been a more valuable piece than Gregory Soto would have been to this team. Especially early on in this season. I know it's not necessarily the point that SF was trying to make, but it really irks me that that deal sort of gets treated like a Scott Harris failure... in terms of results, it just clearly not. Even if Nick Maton didn't work out.2 points

and a decent chance to win all 3. Why can't fans be happy that this org and team is no longer an embarassment? We are watching a toddler learn to walk and run and instead of marvelling at the progress we're yelling at it for falling down and crying.2 points

There's no doubt in my mind that what Tim Scott did on MTP helped his cause with Slump. He completely and totally publicly debased himself in service to Trump. That's Trumps #1 criteria2 points

I am hoping for a ceasefire agreement to have both sides, Bombers and Pfife, not post anything in this thread for 48 hours. All those in favor?1 point

You've literally been spreading anti-Israel Jew-hate here for weeks on end. Video of anti-Israel Jew-hate after video of anti-Israel Jew-hate. Copy paste, copy pate. Lashing out hysterically doesn't change that you did that.1 point

They need to use the softer version in MLB. I believe it would solve some problems in the game.1 point

My expectations was that I would hate the entire kit, so the fact that I only really hate the hat and think the actual jersey is solid seems like a win overall lol1 point

All the City Connect uniforms from every team suck and are unnecessary. yeah, I'm old.1 point

The cap needs to ALWAYS be the Olde English D. But if not, then "313" on the hats.1 point

They are going to ****ing wear them every Friday? Damn. I have the Friday ticket package. That said.... I probably like them better than the current home unis. I wonder if they rip when sliding?1 point

I do not get the hype over these... maybe because I'm old but I really don't give a ****. What is the big deal? Soccer's always been "the sport of the future" for all of my 50 years of living. THe Tigers had a tweet with some players walking into a room seeing them and they reacted as if they saw Sidney Sweeney starting at them nude with a bowl of strawberries.1 point

But we got to see Cowens attack that pitcher who broke his face with a HBP. I think it was the elder Farmer? Highly entertaining...😆😆1 point

I hope they don't repeat the Thompson for Cowens trade. That never made sense to me.1 point

you also notice more in games that are winnable. When you give up 8, whether you scored 2 or 5 isn't much remembered. We've given up 23 fewer runs this April than last and scored 24 more but it almost seems worse because we were in more games we might have won.1 point

3 game losing streak cannot turn into a 9 game streak like last year. They need to grind out a win or two in Cleveland.1 point

Tigers and Yankees both have good pitching and run prevention. They just have more hitters who can do damage and work counts. That was the difference this weekend.1 point

II wouldn't joke about something like that. 😃 I would not have had a problem if Cabrera led off especially since those Tigers teams had some pretty good power hitters to go with him. I always thought he should have batted secod. I also have no problem with Greene leading off. The Tigers have so few good hitters that I don't want them losing hits and baserunners by subtracting at bats from their best hitter. Another reason Greene might be leading off instead of batting second which is statistically optimal is that he has not really been a big home run hitter until recently. He just now appears to emerging into a home run hitter where he was more of an OBP guy previously. If that trend continues, I can see him being moved to the second spot, so they can optimize run scoring and RBI opportunities even though they'd be losing some of his at bats. The days where a team's best hitter bats third are fading away and I am glad the Tigers have a modern manager who recognizes that.1 point
-
If he stops hitting, he still might be better than half the hitters in the line-up. And batting Greene leadoff because he'll get more at bats is perfectly justifiable. I'd probably put him second, but I have no problem with Hinch's batting orders.1 point

I don't know s**t about any of the players who got drafted, but I think the Packers will be the Lions biggest competition in the division going forward based on their history and the fact that their QB is more proven than Chicago's and Minny's.1 point
