The Tigers are coming at a great and weird time. The eyes of the nation and much of the world are on Chicago at the moment, so getting around freely has its challenges, but also, the weather here this week is spectacularly summery in the way you dream in February it will be.

If I’m not mistaken, that’s where Chuck initially met James Charles Adduci. I believe it was at Harry’s place during the 2016 playoffs there. I see Adduci is employed by the Cubs now so I imagine that makes the business side of things convenient for everybody.

He was a useful player when he was used as a utlity player. They tried too long to make him a full-time third baseman. McKinstry is similar in that way. A long time ago in another forum, I ran into a big Brookens fans. I suggested that Brookens really wasn't that good and the guy went ape ****. He went through all the usual stuff - Brookens was clutch, he hit into a lot of tough outs, knew how to move to runner over and thart I needed to get my head out of my spreadsheets and watch the games. We had some "good debates".
