25 years ago today In Excelsis Deo aired. Always in my discussion for favorite WW episode. Toby used the Presidents name to arrange a color guard for a homeless vets funeral. The President asks him if he's worried if all homeless vets will come out of the woodwork if we keep pulling strings like this. Toby has a great response that always gets me. "I can only hope so." Also love in a different part of the episode when Mrs Landingham tells Charlie about her boys. Do yourself a favor and watch some WW.

I don't think anybody meant that they would just accept a loss atleast I never meant to imply that, I meant that IF we had to lose a game the rest of the way this one would be the least damaging for our division and number 1 seed hopes. A win is obviously the goal and more preferable though but that should go without saying.

Unfortunately I don’t think that’s the case. The Lions win 15-2 tiebreakers against the Eagles but not necessarily all 14-3 tiebreakers. A Lions win today would put them at 13-1 (9-1 conf) and an Eagles loss would put them at 11-3 (8-2 conf). Each finish with 3 games against conference opponents. If the Lions finish 1-2 and the Eagles finish 3-0, both would be at 14-3 and the Eagles would win the conference tiebreaker 11-2 to 10-3.

Slightly related to the anti education part, if one wants to home school, have at it. But don’t bombard a professional and degreed educator for instruction on how to home school. It’s quite insulting to imply someone isn’t worthy of a task that their expertise is then asked for.
