No, I think there are lot of people who didn't lke either candidate. They are struggling financially, so they voted for the other party hoping for something better. But in a few months when nothing has changed, prices are still increasing, the social fabric is still fraying, the rich are still getting richer and poor poorer, American schools will still be failing, the countty's infrastructure will still be crumbling, the debt will still be increasing, maybe the border will be closed but it will turn out not to have fixed anything that mattered at all, Trump will still have no policy answers, and suddenly it's going to feel like Saturday, Jan 18 at about 11pm.

Which means they can sign him for $7.2M which he said wont be enough. Or they can use the full MLE on him which is about $14M. He said only two teams project to have cap space this summer. Washington and Brooklyn, so neither one is a real big threat to sign Beasley. He said other non-tax paying teams are the threat, the other teams with the full $14M MLE to spend. He specifically mentioned Houston. He said both LA teams could be under the tax line, also OKC. Good teams that can offer the same amount of money would worry me.

When we start to take symbols as more important than what the symbols represent, we are losing something in the translation somewhere. And isn't that the question when we fight in questionable causes? For the guys on the line it become more about 'the. mission' than what the mission is about, because who the hell knows what that was. And that make everything turn internal - so the guy burning the flag become the enemy, when he's just following the logic that created the flag in the first place.

he's gping to find things are a little different in chicago. the bears are a mess. ownership is terrible (but they wont meddle). he has a lame duck gm and new president who seems to think everything is about him. they are embroiled in a stadium controversy and asking a broke city and state for money for it. oh, and their oline stinks. caleb williams has talent to make plays "off platform" but hasnt really shown much in the pocket. he's not someone like goff who makes good reads and works the middle, but he has a lot more athletic ability than goff has and can get out of the pocket (despite the "jared goff ran a good 40" folks, he aint mobile). they have a scat back in swift but no other backs. they will need to replace 4/5 of their oline. they have an aging free agent at wr who makes too much money in keenan allen, a good wr who thinks he's the best in the league in dj moore, and a rookie. they have an overrated tight end who is just ok. the defense is solid but not as good as they think it is. the secondary is really good though and young. and you have to deal with bears fans who think they should be 12-5 at a minimum every season. they were printing playoff tickets when they took williams this year. he's got a real challenge on his hands now. i like ben johnson and thank him for his service, but i hope he falls flat on his face. we'll welcome him back in 3 years. maybe.
