  1. My Mark Warner email response, Dear Mr [Nice try ISIS, not today] Thank you for contacting me with your thoughts related to Ukraine, and Russia’s violent invasion. I have been horrified by President Trump’s abandonment of Ukraine as it fights for survival against Russia’s unprovoked and brutal aggression. Putin’s invasion of a smaller sovereign state is immoral, and poses a monumental threat to our core security interests. Trump’s inability to condemn Russia for its heinous acts, and his policies that have actively aligned the United States of America with countries like Russia and North Korea, via our votes at the United Nations, is a new low and a stain on our history. The President’s treatment of President Zelenskyy during the meeting at the White House earlier this year was beyond bizarre and an embarrassment. Trump’s embrace of Putin and decisions impacting our vital military and intelligence support to Ukraine, offered a great victory to tyrant rulers around the world, and drive us away from our allies who – for generations – stood by our side as we worked to create a safer and more prosperous world after the horrors of the Second World War. Ukrainians have displayed remarkable courage, resolve, and strength as they fend off Russia’s brutal invasion. While Putin naively expected that Kyiv would fall in a matter of days, Ukraine has instead displayed tremendous willingness and ability to fight and has decimated Russia’s military capabilities for some time to come. Without risking the life of a single American or NATO soldier, Ukraine has imposed enormous losses on Russia’s military, preserved democracy over autocracy, and thwarted Putin’s imperial ambitions. As Ukraine continues its fight against Russian authoritarianism, continued American support remains decisive. As the Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, I will continue working to ensure that Ukraine has the diplomatic, security and intelligence backing that they so critically need, and I will hold the administration’s feet to the fire to ensure that President Trump abides by the United States’ commitments to allies and partners. Sincerely, MARK R. WARNER United States Senator

  4. All the Bourne movies premiered in Boise, Idaho, where I live because the producer’s wife is from Boise and was active in local theater for years before she married him. So they all premier here with all proceeds being a fundraiser for local theater. For the fourth Bourne movie, which sucked, my son who was quite young and short at the time, ducked under a barricade and ran up to get a selfie with Matt Damon and Damon‘s people tried to stop him, but Damon was wonderful and let Mason take the picture with him. I think the Ultimatum is one of the most exciting movies I’ve ever seen. I didn’t see the premiere at the local Egyptian theater, but I did see the film that week during its premier and I gasped so many times.

  10. My wife punked me on April Fool's way back when we were dating. In 1992 she was working with somebody who also was a 'dancer' at a Gentleman's Club. They were sort of friends. So on April Fool's she calls me to tell me she interviewed where "holly" worked. She played it off well. I asked "Did you have to take off your clothes?" she said "Well I lifted my shirt up, yeah..." That was when I went ballistic. I was 18, she was 19.

  17. Corey’s getting emotional reading the unknown soldier poem. Difficult to not also tear up listening. Thinking about Trump and Musk’s disdain for our military. Damn them. Damn their cuts to veterans programs. Damn them to hell.

  22. He looks fairly strong now, his voice a bit weary, …. Reminds me of a kid who is trying like hell to stay awake and looks just a little punch-drunk. 🙂 But, about two years ago, he started a daily morning run routine which definitely (his assessment) has raised his stamina. I hope so. He’s pretty big man, size-wise. I am thinking he can break the record, maybe benefiting from a fourth or fifth wind. But, regardless of the record, I am proud of my senator. edited to add: looking like he has found that 2nd or 3rd wind. 😁

  24. No he said America would be fine with Trump. 9 years and that ****er re-emerges like a cicada to tell us Biden and Trump are the same and we’ll be fine with either. Now, he’s hair on fire alarmed by Trump.

  27. Just a little reminder of how insane this all is. I just had to renew my business license. On the form, there is a part that says "Have you or any of the owners ever been convicted of a felony?" The answer was no, but I felt like writing "The current president is a 34 time convicted felon. Why does this question appear on any form anymore?" I mean, you can be president but can't run a small business if you are a felon? Absurdity.

  43. My take is that some of those who get into vigorous arguments that “Die Hard” is a Christmas Movie are venned with the bosses who claim that their being Jimmy Buffet fans means they are rebels who like to work hard and play hard. Very much a stale take which appeals to a certain type of regular barbershop visiting dad of a certain age and mental flexibility.
