There are two explanations for what we saw, that is one, the other is that the Lions didn't have the personel to match up to what Seattle was doing without leaving worse vulnerability somewhere else. Even if that was the case, you can argue they mis-judged the relative risks, which is still bad enough, but it seems doubtful to me the Lions staff didn't understand what Seattle was doing to them well enough. By who? Campbell isn’t going to do it and Holmes isn’t going to force him. Maybe in a few seasons where there may be some heat on both but don’t see it now. Maybe in a few seasons where there may be some heat on both but don’t see it now. he did it to anthony lynn, there's no reason to think he wont do it to glenn too. the difference may be that they had someone waiting in the wings to replace lynn (the current oc), whereas they may not have that person on defense. For the record, I don't think it will happen in season since there just aren't options currently on the staff and the defensive talent is not good. AO was arguably worse than last week and was headed towards 100% before getting injured late. Brockers getting 30 snaps is way too many.
