  2. A co-worker once told me the Lions should have drafted Johnny Manziel because Stafford couldn't take a team to the Super Bowl. I may get fired for creating a hostile workplace for this employee.

  4. My mom was on kidney transplant lists for a couple of years. Her blood type hampered the efforts as it was simply tough to find a match, but she did what she was instructed to do. Took her meds, watched her diet & activity, kept up with dialysis, followed medical guidance, etc. She eventually got matched with a donor, but it didn't work out, the kidneys failed, and so she endured 4 surgeries within 4 days (the kidney transplant, 2 lesser procedures, and then the eventual kidney removal) and then went back to the list. She never had another opportunity. If folks on transplant lists don't want to follow the protocols, that's fine. Simply bypass them and move on to the next person that's willing and able.

  5. It's funny, KL2 jumped on me when I said Goff lead a team to the Super Bowl and here he is trying to convince us Khan is some sort of good owner because of one good season in 10 years.

  6. Matthew Stafford has played in as many Super Bowls as Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees.

  7. Damn I wish I had gotten to the medieval stuff. I was getting tired. It was around 3.30 and we wanted to walk around outside some more. I have sensory issues and after a while things become a blur. Should have planned better. All the Asian stuff on the first floor probably overwhelmed me. I can’t shouldn’t read everything especially without my glasses and having to strain. But there was good stuff there. I got yelled at for getting too close to one of the works by Pollack. I looked at it from the side to see how thick the paint was and I crossed the taped threshold on the floor.

  8. I can't do anything about spineless GOP. I also think a lot of them are. They need backbone to stand up to the dems. The rest of that list is the fault of the dems especially racial division, terrorism, problems with foriegn countries and drug cartels. Dems are up to their necks in it or make it worse.

  10. The illegals in this country should never be rewarded with anything. It only intices more to come in. All people here illegally should be deported. There are laws on how to enter the US and they should be enforced. Unfortunatly we have people in office that don't care about the security and safety of the American citizens and the US. On the same topic Biden said today at a Governor's conference that neither him or Harris can figure out why these people are leaving their home countries. They are talking with other countries to try to figure it out. This prove the man and his lackey VP are completely clueless and totally incompetent. What's even more rediculous is people like you guys not only support him but think he's doing a good job.

  11. Yes, of course. If only the Dems wouldn't veer too far to the left, then people in the center wouldn't be forced to vote for a fascist dictatorship.

  14. Neil's been battling Spotify for years.............Neil has been battling mp3s in general for years. Most people don't have musician's ears and don't care, they just want something to sing or dance along to.

  15. The ridiculous Bomb disarming scene at the end where he's wearing the clown makeup is actually quite dramatic. Where he fights to disarm the bomb and everyone in the circus hears him yell "Damnit there's a bomb in there" Sadly, that movie was written into campyness by one of my favorite authors George Macdonald Fraser who also wrote the Flashman series. It was his idea that it would be great to see Bond in clown outfit or a gorilla suit. Yikes.

  16. Yes I did see the big red building. I forgot how much I liked Chicago. It's a big city but not too big. We had breakfast at Wildberry near the park, everybody suggested it. It was really good. Didn't need lunch. Went to the Art Museum to kill time and I've come to the conclusion that a lot of Art is basically the same thing as crypto currency and NFT's... something is great because they said it's great. An artist reaches a certain level and people just assume it's good and will believe any explanation. There was literally just a giant painting that was gray. That's it. Just gray paint. There was also a sink mounted to the wall... looked like a trough from Tiger Stadium or Joe Louis. It was art supposedly.

  18. It’s getting to the point that if he and his acolytes get elected and they overturn our democracy, it’ll be our own damn fault, because he’ll have spent years telling us they were going to do just that, and we will have not stopped them.

  21. Franchise QB wins zero playoff games with Lions, franchise QB goes to Superbowl the moment he leaves the Lions. If this isn't the most SOL thing to ever happen, I don't know what it is. Congrats to Matt but my god does it suck to be a Lions fan and tonight was just another big swift kick in the balls to Lions fans everywhere.

  22. Lot of noise from the NFL talking heads today (who based on history - both distant and recent - know absolutely nothing). Some say he’s taking the Vikings job tomorrow. Some say he’s taking the Dolphins job tomorrow. My money is on absolutely nothing happening tomorrow.

  23. Congratulations to Matthew Stafford. No player in the NFL deserves a chance to play in the Super Bowl more than he does.

  33. Only Murders in the Building was good. While I'm a fan of Martin Short and Steve Martin, I generally expect a cast with big names to phone it in. They did anything but. Funny, well-written, suspenseful. Recommend.
