  20. Damn straight I will move on. What the bleep should any fan care about how these guys divide up these billions? I am just amazed at how some good people can insist that there exists a kind of moral agency on the part of fans to defend the interests of ballplayers, like they are starving waifs or refugees or the princess from the Kingsmen movie.

  22. if this gets resolved soon, everything will be forgiven/forgotten by the fans. It's still only Spring Training, and an April delay to the start of games will not mean much (especially since attendance is already light, after Opening Day). The transaction frenzy that will take place over the next few weeks will be unrivaled (even greater than the old GM winter meetings when trades actually happened). So many elite players that will need to sign quickly will create a ton of news and excitement, mitigating any current bad taste fans have. MLBRumors.com will likely crash multiple times over the next few weeks.

  24. Dunno and probably couldn't tell you if i did. I don't think this is the Havana syndrome thing or anything too nefarious but I lack data to make that guess. Unrelated: China is heavily engaged in developing these radars to oppose our significant advantages with stealth. The F-22 will clean all the clocks when it actually enters combat.

  25. 3 new post SOTU polls out that all have Biden's polling up to 45% and 2 generic congressional polls that have Dems in the lead as well. Morning Consult: Biden Approval 45%, Disapprove 51% Reuters/IPSOS: Biden Approval 45%, Disapprove 49% Economist/YouGov: Biden Approval 45%, Disapprove 49% Economist/YouGov: Democrats +5 Generic Congressional Race Politico/Morning Consult: Democrats +2 Generic Congressional Race For the record I believe none of these polls, least of all the Congressional polling. I think it will be a 2010 style bloodletting for Democrats because of the usual midterm factors with inflation, gas prices, and a general malaise to boot.

  28. Zelinsky continues to ask the US and NATO for a no fly zone. Get ready for this folks....the Biden administration is doing right by turning his request down. Ukraine is not a member of NATO and there is no reason for the us to get involved. As soon as a NFZ is implemented we are going to be involved in a full scale war with Russia that has a good probability it would go nuclear. Then at what point will China get involved? When they do they've already made it clear they side with Putin. Biden admin is correct by aiding Ukraine where they can but staying out of the war.

  33. I think I have a little prospect fatigue with Ivey that I don't have with Smith or Holmgren...probably because I have seen him play a lot given that he is in the Big Ten. I kind of doubt he will be a go to scoring option at the NBA level. Still, I think you have to put him #3 after Smith and Holmgren as no other wing players have his all around talent. And he probably fits the Pistons as well as any other team as we could use an elite athlete to complement Cade and Saddiq.
