I'm starting to like Kerby Joseph. Colton Pouncy @colton_pouncy Kerby Joseph on Aaron Rodgers: "If that's his last pass, I'm saving that ball and I'm sending it to him so he can sign it. If he don't sign it, I'll understand. But I doubt he's gonna retire. He's probably gonna try to come back, and if he comes back, more plays for me." 1:10 AM · Jan 9, 20233 points

Aaron Rogers lost the game because he's old and a jerk. The Packers blew the game with their unsportsmanlike play. So, really the Packers suck.2 points

Touchdown to retake he lead. Now bury the Packers and close out the season knowing you cost Green Bay a playoff chance.2 points

Until I witness someone say "wow...you convinced me" I will avoid political discussions. Almost as pointless as arguing about the DH2 points

This is going to be such a Pro-Green Bay broadcast it will be sickening.2 points

Eh, I was disappointed for a bit after the result but this has been a great season, they have a chance to ruin the Packers season and it's a big offseason with lots of resources to significantly improve the roster. This is the most hopeful I've been for the franchise's future since..... well....ever.2 points

Officials made tonight’s game unwatchable. That roughing the kicker, missed intentional grounding, fake unnecessary roughness, missed 2x taunting personal fouls all in like 5 minutes. That’s almost unbelievable. Almost.2 points

Have no idea why McVay called a timeout there. By calling that timeout you now bring up the possibility of Seahawks getting the ball back if you don't get a 1st down.2 points

That's GOTTA be the 2023 motto. I mean, aside from winning the division and making hay in the playoffs... #BNL or just BNL ...is going to be the new "mantra"...1 point

The national media is fawning all over the Lions today. It’s fun.1 point

For my last game thread post of the year all I want to say is…What a great fucking season! #BNL1 point

well it's beyond the powers of that grand jury to indict. Give them a chance to act before condemning them.1 point

Freeze your credit. Each agency lets you freeze your credit profile. At that point nobody can check your credit score or open new accounts in your name. If you need to apply for a new credit card or loan, simply go to the websites and unfreeze your account, let them do their check, and freeze it again. Gives you peace of mind. If you have young kids I would also recommend you freeze their account as well. You don't want them turning 18 and finding out someone stole their identity 12 years ago and have been running wild with their credit. Links to the three main credit agencies and their pages for freezing your accounts: https://www.transunion.com/credit-freeze https://www.equifax.com/personal/credit-report-services/credit-freeze/ https://www.experian.com/freeze/center.html1 point

Using Vierling primarily in the infield would be kind of a waste, his defense grades out really well as an outfielder and the Tigers have a few questionable defensive players in that department (Baddoo, Carpenter, Meadows)1 point

LS? Thank You for all your radio posts this season. Very much appreciated.1 point

even with the refs on their usual pro-packers bullshit the lions still won. good on em. if only the refs in seattle had played fair.1 point

This season ended much too quickly. I'm doubling my order of blue Kool-Aid this summer. 😄😄😄1 point

Take that SOL shit and shoot it into the sun. This team is for real folks, these guys are going to get better with experience and they're going to add substantially to the talent base in the draft and free agency. BNL1 point

He didn't get his Tea Tree Oil enema before the game. He's all bound up.1 point

Another view, this one from the Indy Star which has been the go to paper for the Indy since forever, so they probably have a bias to the Indy teams. Michael Andretti's answered every F1 challenge. It's time to green light Andretti Global. - Indy Star (couple of days old)1 point

Nevermind, this is the Lions, the refs will overturn this. Someone's pinky toe was probably out of bounds.1 point

Hmm, will the league let the Lions keep the ball here?1 point

I want the Lions to win. I want a winning season. I want a 5-1 division record. And I want to see AA Ron sent home early.1 point

All true, but if Mayfield doesn't float that pass that Diggs picked off, the Rams win1 point

Turner is a shot blocker, not a defender. There is a huge difference. Put it this way. He has lead the league in blocks multiple years and has never finished top 5 in DPOY voting. He has never made a single all defensive team. Then take a guy like Bam. He wont average 1 block a game and still is in the top 5 for DPOY. He has made all defensive the last 3 years. That is a defender, someone who can step out and defend the dribble hand offs, the PnR, the switch, etc. That is the guy you consider paying $30M+ a year. Turner isn't close to Bam. On top of that, the Pistons have 3 guys coming off of rookie deals in the summer of 2024. They are about to get expensive really fast. Having decent players like Turner on a stupid contract will really hurt their ability to maneuver. There are a lot of better places to spend the money they have.1 point
-
Big pass on Turner. Decent enough player but I am not spending $30M+ a year on a center.1 point

I was in the car with one of my kids last week with an oldies station on the radio, and a song by the O'Jays came on, and I said what an unfortunate choice that name had been. He said yes, they had missed an opportunity in the 1990's to reverse that negative image, they could have renamed themselves The Cosbys.1 point

the other thing is that you can't predict with much certainty which way the public mood is going to go if the FC group starts playing obstruction. Maybe it ends up playing well, or maybe the public is tired of it and the backlash ends up being a big boost for the Dems. I think the latter is more likely, in which case the non-FC GOP members are going to see themselves forced pretty quickly into a deal with the Dems to kneecap the FC.1 point
