Snell is the opposite type of pitcher that Harris covets. He throws a lot of pitches and walks a lot of batters. No thanks for the price.

Manning is basically a 4 seam fastball pitcher. He doesn't have the velo a Verlander had but it's that kind of pitcher profile. So just for perspective I'd note that JV threw over 500 MLB innings before he reached a one K/IP K rate. Manning is at ~225. He has enough stuff if stays healthy and learns how to use it - never any guarantees with pitchers but I would understand if the Tiger are willing to give him more time to develop before moving him.

Yes, but Irvin came in and on a handful of snaps got a sack, a hit, and knocked Carr out of the game. That hit extended a NO drive but probably ended their comeback attempt. Also, CJGJ should be back for the last three games. Maybe Houston also. Defense has been bad but don’t expect for it to get worse. Once again, with Sorsdal in, the team had a hard time maintaining LOS. But when that starting five OL was all together it was a thing of beauty.

No. Florida State's defense is a lot better than Alabama's. If Auburn didn't choke it wouldn't be an issue. Alabama's not that great. This is a crime and Aaron Glenn must be fired NOW.

i was hoping for michigan-washington in the rose bowl one last time. not because i think washington sucks, but because of the big ten pac ten rivalry.

I guess some attempts need to be made. But of course you can't share anything valuable with them, they will just steal it. My favourite TV expose about Chinese theft of intellectual property was about knockoff golf clubs, specifically drivers. There was Titleist rep there, he was handed 2 drivers...one was legit, and one was a Chinese knockoff. From their exterior appearance, he did not know which was the real one. Then the robot took a few swings with each of them, and the results were hilarious, the knockoff was 30 yards shorter and wildly inaccurate. Then they sawed both of the heads in half and the knockoff had drips in it like runny icing on a cake. I smiled contentedly at that, with schadenfreude, because I worked with a guy at the parent company in Pittsburgh who was a real asshole and a lousy golfer, and every year he bought a new driver and got a really great discount price on it! He probably had 15 Chinese drivers in his garage.

I didn't think the o line had played that well even before the ZInter injury. There haven't been many explosive runs all season due to them not creating any holes and a good chunk of the big pass plays were due to McCarthy moving out of the pocket and throwing on the run.

Michigan is going to win this, but that doesn't change the fact that a lot of their play calling on offense just isn't working and they absolutely refuse to make adjustments. They did exactly the same thing against Georgia a couple years ago and got their teeth kicked in as a result. You can't just keep running the same plays over and over thinking that eventually they're going to work.
