This is a big one. I feel like the tide is turning. Maybe because I am older but I know a lot of people who just don’t drink anymore. on a similar subject… hugging. Don’t ask people to hug. Not everybody is an hugger. Figure it out. If they side hug you then learn that they aren’t into that. Especially younger girls. Don’t even initiate it with them. I just ran into this last night. A 40 something repeatedly asking a 7 year old for a hug. Nothing malicious about it but it needs to be taught that we all have to understand that when girls say no then accept it. That will help them late on. They will learn they can say no.

With my nieces and nephews I'm more into high fives than hugs. Hugs just feel strange these days. I won't object if someone else initiates it, but won't make the first move. Maybe too many hugs from great aunts with bad perfume when I was young

People who pressure/guilt trip others into taking alcoholic shots or drinking more than they would like. For professional and health reasons, I establish limits and shouldn't have to justify turning down a liquor shot.

the only thing they could do would have been to have decker and skipper change places on the line. which would also have tipped dallas off, of course. the ref screwed up and cost them. as simple as that. all these bull**** announcements from the league and from media about the lions "getting too cute" is besides the point and a distraction from the real issue, which is Allen's failure to take the time to do his job correctly.

First, Goff wouldn't be able to audible out of it. With Skipper announced as eligible, any play they run out of the formation would be illegal formation. I suppose Goff could have re-arranged the line so the formation is correct, basically have Skipper and Decker trade places, but then the whole play is jacked up and you have players out of position. Second, if the Lions jump up and down and say it's Decker and not Skipper, that blows the discreteness of the play and tips off Dallas on what the play is. The Lions also did not have a timeout. I've also heard once it is announced it cannot be changed. Even so, the ref going and making a correction that it is Decker just draws more attention to the play.

this is what happens when cade has on off night. i mean, it happens all the time when he has an ON night, but if he's off theyre going to get absolutely slaughtered. and why is wiseman playing so much? once again leading the team with a -24 when he's on the court.

JJ missed some throws but I think some of this hate on him is a bit extreme, Bama has a really good defense loaded with 1st round talent, they have shut down great qbs before so you can't just play pitch and catch with them. Also JJ still did go 17/27 for like 250 3TDs and 0 picks. Also had some good runs as well. It's not like he was horrendous or something.

Sam Vecenie had one of the Piston podcasters on his show recently. They did 20 minutes on the Pistons and talked about Stewart. They praised him for improving his shooting. But they said he has no gravity, he doesn't draw the defense in so he really doesn't create spacing like you would want. They mentioned the fact he can't attack closeouts as being the big problem. You can really play off of him on defense because when/if he gets the ball, he will not move at all. So you can close out on him hard and he isn't capable of punishing you by putting it on the floor and driving to the basket.

The Tigers still play the Braves every year though. It's not like the leagues matter that much anymore. I think that's a mistake as I think the AL versus NL thing was one of the things that made baseball unique, but that's the way it is.
