  1. A friend of mine who moved/retired with her husband to South Carolina a year (or 2?) ago was sent this by another friend… I think everyone can relate.

  3. Actually, Bill Clinton changed all that. I mean, if you remember it was gotcha, after gotcha, after gotcha and it STRENGTHENED him. It was incredible. Never saw anyone bat away so many scandals and just keep on truckin' (until Trump). Maybe it's the underdog factor Funny thing is that Trump got 34 felonies for something he never needed to do. His cheating wouldn't have mattered one bit with voters. Honestly, I don't give a crap how someone lives their personal life. Someone wants to cheat on their spouse, the only question I have is Does it affect their job? Sure, it makes them blackmailable, but he got 34 strikes for something that his voters don't care about. Nobody politicked better than Bill Clinton. He was a master at it. It's a natural gift. If Hillary at 1/10% of that, she'd have been the first Madame President. Trump is different. It's not politicking it's good it, it's Archie Bunkering that he's good at and some people love that. They tend to be garbage, but hope some of y'all's confidence is well-placed. As far as the MSG rally. That's the October surprise, but I have to ask. "You're surprised that this bunch is racist? Where ya been since the Civil Rights movement?"

  4. I don't know how he could have lost. Who didn't want to be spared Crucifixion on a cross of gold? (Isn't Frank Baum riffing a little on those gold/silver controversies in "The Wizard of Oz"?)

  5. Dov likes to post that kind of stuff. No one is riled up. I like the Lions are causing the opposing coach to meltdown. I’m guessing a Lions player, probably St Brown, was chirping at the Packers bench.

  6. William Jennings Bryan is another possible comparison from history - perhaps closer given that he lost the popular vote three times.

  9. Survived another game with no Hutch - that will be partially solved by Tuesday night Survived and thrived for 2 games without one of their most dynamic offensive weapons Survived half a game without Brian Branch. This is the best team in the NFL and I don't even think it's even close.

  13. Mine is high and this is coming from someone who didn't give a **** about politics for most of my life. I believe Harris will win but the negative impact of a Trump win would be so much more than the positive impact of a Harris win and I am not really confident in my belief of a Harris victory. The only thing that will really make me happy is Trump getting absolutely crushed. Anything else would be an embarrassment for our country.

  14. not really buying it. Clicks.........Views........Fear..........Click this. They're scaring the hell out of my Mom. She's 83, I would love to see her witness a female President. What that would mean to her.

  15. Key to this game is containing Bronny. If they hold him below his 0.7 PPG average they have a good shot of winning.

  16. The power of the MSG rally is that it didn't fall out of his mouth.... the Puerto Rican comment (along with a bunch of other terrible things) fell out of other people's mouths. To me, that's why it broke through....

  18. PFF grades are out. Kerby, Amon-Ra and Jack Campbell were our 3 highest rated players. Campbell is really turning into a solid player at LB.

  20. Moore was asked after the game if Eberflus lost the team and Moore said I would say no. Not exactly a confident answer.

  23. If they want to go 16-1 they have to make a move for a pass rusher - at the least. They won't get away with not pressuring the QBs forever.

  24. It's insane to think about just how good this team is when you consider where we were four years ago. Even three years ago. Halloween 2021 we lost 44-6 to the Eagles at home to drop to 0-8. A car hit me crossing the street after I left Ford Field. Flash forward three years, we lost the front runner for DPOY three weeks ago and didn't lose a step, improving now to 7-1. No car has hit me since.

  26. Also I'd be remiss if I didn't mentioning Bates given that I was a big fanboy of his from his season with the Panthers. I'll be honest with you was was always a little nervous that playing in the NFL was going to get to Bates and he'd end up folding under the pressure. The early missed extra point in the season didn't help. But that's turned out to be his one and only blemish so far. And he was perfect in GB in the cold, windy, rain, nailing a 27 yarder plus 3 extra points. Out of 31 extra point attempts he's made 30. For FGs he's been perfect. 3 for 3 from the 20-29 yard range 5 for 5 from the 30-39 yard range 3 for 3 from the 40-49 yard range 1 for 1 from the 50+ yard range

  27. Quincy Jones has left us at 91. Just think of the artist he worked with. Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson, Count Basie and of course the We Are The World production. Thank you for your music

  28. I definitely hope he meets his comeuppance. I wonder if this is a test the hoped for Harris administration wants to take. Right out of the gate.

  29. That graphic they showed about Goff completing his last 30 throws targeted to St. Brown is insane. Even if you want to say that most of the throws were relatively "easy" that is still crazy. Not a single miscommunication, dropped ball, wayward throw, pass break up etc. for 30 straight times is really remarkable. Says alot about both of them.

  30. My wife and I went up to Greenfield Village years ago. There was an old time baseball tournament going on. Harwell happened to be there to “broadcast” a game for those in attendance. He didn’t really do play by play in as much as he and the analyst had a conversation about the goings on and the rules of the game as it was going on. Things like the batter choosing for the pitcher whether he wanted the ball higher or lower (the umpire would declare “striker, state your preference), fly balls caught on one bounce was still an out, the home team turned their backs to the local train as it went by as they were not in favor of such mechanical beasts, etc. It was really cool.

  31. I’m starting to keep an eye on the results of Washington and Philly. I expect both to drop their share of games. No reason the Lions’ objective should be anything less than the # 1 seed.

  35. Even a 5 minute FG drive. Hell, even a 2 minute FG drive or 5 minute scoreless drive. Packers aren’t going to score 3 TDs plus at least a couple of two-point conversions, in under a quarter. That’s why if I’m Green Bay I probably would have gone for it on 4th and long.

  37. I don't know how you watch these two teams and think you need to expand. There are 10 guys in this game getting minutes that shouldn't be in the league.

  38. My wife and I had our driveway replaced this year. I had a few calls out to contractors for quotes. One agreed to meet me at my house at 4:00. At 3:45, I get a semi angered call asking where I was. I was about 3 minutes from home, told him I would be home before the agreed to time, but if he wanted to start measuring stuff feel free to do so. So I get home, and see an idling diesel pick up in front of my yard and a red hatted dude walking off the lengths. Well, sure, I thought to myself there wasn’t any way that hat was a Cincy Reds or Ohio State hat. Of course, it was a dunce cap. So I just let him waste his time, listened to him prattle off about he was better than any other contractor, wished him a good day, and tossed his estimate.
