  1. appears they targeted him due to his past actions, so that's Capital Murder, not manslaughter

  2. Have you ever once criticized any of the fraudulent activity that this President has been involved in or alleged to have been involved in? Has it ever bothered you that he's making tens-of-millions of dollars selling phony bibles or running a crypto-currency operation, pushing people to invest in it, while in the White House? If it hasn't then politely sit down and be quiet. If Steve Forbes or anyone else has evidence of fraudulent investment activity committed by Ilhan Omar or her brother or any member of her family he's welcome to turn information over to the Securities and Exchange Commission or the Federal Trading Commission or the FBI or any number of law enforcement agencies that can investigate it. It should be investigated and due process should be carried out. But stop feigning anger or faux outrage when you voted for a guy who ran scam charities, bilked business contractors out of money, and is actively profiting off of his role in the White House.

  3. Its too bad that was a tail light on an ice vehicle and not a window of the US Capitol building. Or a Capitol police officers face. If it were the Capitol he would be posthumously pardoned.

  4. Why would a troll ever do that? He’s not here to debate. He’s here to get his maga rocks off by owning the left. I know it’s pathetic behavior but nothing you say will ever change him. In fact, the more we engage, the bigger Shrek’s boner gets.

  7. To be fair, baseball was a pay to win league well before the free agency era. The Yankees and Cardinals paid big money for decades so they could win. Some of the money they spent even went to players.

  9. I think we all except over the next couple of offseasons that all of Goff, St. Brown, Sewell, and quite possibly Hutch will be restructured. Plus, we'll have guys like Anzalone, Decker, and Reader coming off the books. The cap doesn't exist in a vacuum either. It too will change, it will go up, and our financial outlook will change. I don't think making one major free agent signing is going to turn us into the Saints or transform us back to where we were when Mayhew and Lewand had all that dead cap money on the books from Calvin, Stafford, and Suh that hurt us for a few years.

  10. Like you actually give a ****. GTFO with that. The guy you voted in as President ran scam charities that had to pay back money and bilked who knows how many people out of payments for work they did.

  14. Desperately looking for growth but doesn't realize how important stability is for growth. A Weaker Dollar Has Always Been Part of Trump’s Plan A lower exchange rate is one more lever for the U.S. to boost growth, but it chips away at America’s traditional role as a safe haven

  15. That's a situation I understand all too well, and I suspect more people go through this than not. For me, I've found that Amazon wasn't saving me money in the long run-and I didn't order enough or watch enough to justify Amazon Prime. And I'm lucky to live in a place with a lot of good, affordable alternatives. We can only do what we can-even if for some it's literally helping instead of hurting someone.

  18. I didn't even hear about it and I try to keep up with what's going on. I wonder if it'll do any good? We need to have Trump's entire administration removed from office before they do irreversible damage. If they haven't already.

  19. One problem is that eveyone is so obsessed with winning championships that anything less than that is considered failure. So, every year 29 teams fail and the average team wins a championship only once every 30 years. I alao agree that villains (teams that spend a lot of money and win more than other teams) are good for sports. Every team having the same probability of winning each year would be boring.

  21. HE'S A ****ING PEDOPHILE How many people they gonna kill in Minnesota this weekend to keep attention away from this? What other awful **** are they going to do to keep attention off this. Next time I have to hear some moral bullspit from a right-wing Christian, this stuff is going right back into their face. You worship a pedophile and you know it, it's no secret, there is no "I had no idea". Yes you did, but your bigotry is stronger than your care for children. Long as it ain't YOUR daughter, I guess.

  22. I've not dug into any of this but I'm naturally suspicious of anything Epstein himself writes. First off, he appears to be stupid. Mispelling and poor grammar. He could be trying to document as much crap as possible to hold it over people and who knows what is true and isn't.

  24. The way to free oneself of a troll is to proceed as though they're not there, which includes not only blocking then, but also, not unblocking blocked posts to engage with them, or even referring to them in other posts. I myself have been guilty of both. Attention, any attention, even the level of attention in this post, is oxygen.

  25. The selling started last night. Today the entire market is down. I read a bunch of different takes on why, but they are all over the place. Option expiration might be as good of a reason as any, but these are the metals so there is the paper vs. physical thing, and the different exchanges they trade on. Also, the dollar index is up which trades inverse to gold & silver.

  27. Kind of reminds me of those texts I get from random unknown numbers asking if I'm 'free to play golf' or something. Or the DMs I get from people on social media that later get labeled "account deleted.' Not quite the same, but somehow similar. In both cases it's best to ignore the message.

  28. Throw Bondi in jail for contempt of court until all Epstein files are released. But at this point? I guarantee Trump's name, or any of his doners names, will not be anywhere in the files. It will be filled all with democrats names.

  29. Cap Hell is out there but it can be pushed back 3 or 4 year and possibly avoided all together by using planned restructuring and getting lucky with the cap increasing faster than player salaries.

I just remembered, when we were in school the SO had to take an anthro course and part if it was about some group of arctic natives and the way chief established himself was to intimidate the members of his tribe by giving them better gifts than they could give him. This guy happen to have any Innuit blood?

  39. Thanks for clarifying that one. Maybe they're trying to tweak the blue-leaning state with the ruby red county, so that they fight each other. That also tracks because the last thing this administration wants is for people to reconcile and get along. That doesn't help them.

  42. Disclosure; That article is behind a paywall for me. This is a "market" thing. When the value of the dollar (against another currency) goes down, the "purchasing power" of our money is less. Market 101. The dollar index they are talking about is the value of the US dollar against a basket of other currencies so it is going down against many. Depending on what flavor of economic/fiscal theory you buy into, this comes into play. In this case, a cheaper dollar is good for US exports. On the other hand, it is bad for "our" consumer because our money doesn't go as far. When TPTB decided globalization was a good thing and took advantage of environmental and wage arbitrage through slave labor and 3rd world countries to exploit and dump waste, our goose was cooked. We went though the industrialization era of mass produced automobiles and other products - the hey day of American workers - to shipping our jobs and production all over the world. The giant sucking sound as Ross Perot said. I lived it, I watched it. I even helped it happen, and I hate that. But I had to eat. It's too late. All the jobs we lost are not coming back, and on top of that, any that can be replaced by a robot, will be. Even if they tried, it would take years. That's assuming the ****wads running this place actually give one good ****. But they don't. I don't know if they are all actually this economically illiterate, or just play the role on TV.
