You can order some more free covid tests.  Just had to use another yesterday as I have several symptoms, guessing just the flu for me though.

I just did the same.

And I just took a test because I want to make sure that the generally crappy way I’m feeling is mostly just post-op, and not this damn virus on top of it…. Results in 10 more minutes (but I’m thinking it’s negative)

Edit to add: negative

Snopes says it isn't.

MCB's tweeting from partisan hacks strikes again.

Well no, it wasn't a partisan hack. It was retweeted by a local reporter with a solid reputation so I figured I could trust it. Perhaps you need to take a break and go outside and smell the flowers.

Not sure I would trust that local reporter as much anymore.  Considering anyone that got past the meme's that made fun of ivermectin users would know that it has regularly been given to humans for decades without any issues.  Yet somehow it only affects people that want to take it to help with Covid....hmmm, one would think it wouldn't pass the smell test if....you know, they didn't want it to be so true.

Incontinence is a side effect of Ivermectin albeit rare. I imagine the people who are taking it for COVID are also not taking it in proper doses since no competent doctor is prescribing it for COVID so they are getting their dosages from either shady doctors or conspiracy theorists. Most people who get symptoms took too much. That's per Webmd. Hopefully they don't count as a partisan hack.

My wife is still dealing with intense itching and an occasional rash due to mast cells that are still elevated and they continue to say based on all of their testing, that it's fallout from getting her Covid booster and Flu shot together, so yes, anything is possible with drugs, but 'albeit rare' is the exact point that should have made you question it.

Rare when prescribed by a doctor and taken in proper doses. Not as rare when you buy a bunch of horse dewormer and start taking the dosage prescribed by QANON.

Conspiracy theorists here.

To the bold; that is simply not true.  A buddy of mine and his wife got COVID back in October.  They went to their family doctor here.  He is one of the largest practices in town.  What did he give them?  Ivermectin - the human kind, which comes in pill form.

The state of Tennessee just legalized the sale of the very same drug with no prescription needed.

Tennessee governor signs law making ivermectin available without prescription

It is also on the World Health Organizations list of essential medicines.

From the National Library of Medicine which is part of the NIH (yea, that one).

Ivermectin for Prevention and Treatment of COVID-19 Infection: A Systematic Review, Meta-analysis, and Trial Sequential Analysis to Inform Clinical Guidelines

One of these organizations gives dosages.

I know this goes against what many believe, but facts are what they are.  It works best as a prophylaxis, but "proper" studies show it is most effective proportionally to the time of infection.  IOW, once you have symptoms - the sooner the better.

It is off patent so it is cheap.  You can buy a years supply for about a hundred bucks if used as a preventative.

I'm sure heads are exploding at this point, so let's finish and do it up right.  Why is it not used?  Because of the EUAs.  If a drug was found to work (in this case a re-purposed drug which accounts for around 20% of drugs prescribed by doctors) the emergency use authorization could not happen.  Therefore, the vax makers can now make a killing.

How much is Big Pharma making from COVID-19 vaccines? We’re about to find out - MarketWatch

That isn't to say the vaccines are not good, or people shouldn't get them - but when you have a perfectly safe drug, given to billions worldwide, that shows effectiveness, is cheap and available - why the hell not take it?  I know people right now who are fully vaxxed and still use it.  The vaxxes only last for so long and they use this as a preventative.

And I'll go one step further - once they came out and called it horse paste I knew it worked, at least to some extent.  Nobody is saying it's a miracle drug, but proper studies show it can be effective.

I think this is one of the biggest travesties of my lifetime.

LOL Tennessee. The state run by Trumpers who believe adults can marry children. Not compelling.

Right it's a legitimate medicine but it does not treat COVID. COVID isn't listed at the WHO as a treatable. It's an anti-parasite medicine. The diseases listed at this link are various parasitic diseases.

The FDA does not approve Ivermectin for use for treating COVID.

Just wait till you see how many people are making millions from prescribing Ivermectin.

Stop ruining MB's delusions with facts. That's unacceptable.

Perhaps you will find these facts acceptable, a study from the New England Journal of Medicine

Or how the FDA does not approve Ivermectin for COVID:

Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19 | FDA

But hey, I'm the delusional one who doesn't take a dewormer to treat a virus.

Drugs can have different uses.  Just beause something is authorized doesn't mean it's authorized for everything.

Reminds me of a common misconception that insurance covers Viagra. It can.  If used to treat heart conditions, which was the original intent.  If your doctor prescribes for that then insurance will cover it.  If you want to get for erectile dysfunction then insurance won't cover it.

Anecdotes is not data.  Some people got covid, drank some coca cola, and felt better.  Doesn't mean it was from the coca cola.  Some people got covid, drank coffee, and died.  Doesn't mean coffee killed them.

Yeah - remember that logic by association proves beyond any doubt that matches cause lung cancer.
