Even though I'm generally negative about this franchise and while I don't think we're a serious playoff team just yet, this could be a really fun season. I think the Eagles might be really good this year if Jalen Hurts can even be halfway decent. It's a tough one to start out with, but we should see what they're made out of pretty quickly. All either one had to do was look competent with the First Squad and neither did. Don't know of Sudfeld would be better and hopefully we don't have to see him for the first 3-4 weeks while he gets the offense down, but the two backups just couldn't get it done. Weren't they a combined 0-8 as starters? Sudfeld never started a game. He shouldn't get anything batted down at 6-6. I am guessing they'll sign Blough to the practice squad. Yeah, I mean a part of me says "Keep him around cause Sudfeld doesn't know the system and if Goff goes down right away we're be stuck with someone who doesn't know the team or plays." But realistically, Blough didn't look great after knowing the teams and plays anyway. Plus there's almost two week until the first game... Sudfeld should at least be semi-familiar with things by then, and if Blough is on the practice squad it's not like they could use him in a game in which Goff got injured anyway.
