Peacock (NBC's streaming service) has a package of nationally televised games that utilize an early morning timeslot this season, so there's one of these per Sunday. I'll be listening on the radio, because I'm not paying for Peacock lol Quote
Dave Christian Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 I wonder who will be on the hill for the Tigers? Quote
mtutiger Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 As well as they have played over the past week or two, this is gonna be a challenging series, a lot like the Dodger series earlier on where just taking 1 of 3 would feel like a W. Quote

Especially looking at these pitching matchups. It's going to be an uphill climb. The bullpen day/ Rony start may be their best odds. It'd be cool to see them get to Cole again but it'll be tough without the cold Quote

Brieske concerns me some though, although the start he had against LA at Dodger Stadium at least tells me that the environment won't be too much for him. Quote
IdahoBert Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Peacock is $4.99 a month. And they also do live cycling from Europe. Starting Sunday is eight days of Criterium du Dauphine then in July there’s 21 days of Tour de France and in August another 21 days of La Vuelta. They also have a lot of movies but like every streaming service that’s for the most part lost on me. And there’s a lot of TV shows which is similarly lost on me because I’ve become a 70-year-old teenager who thinks everything sucks. 1 Quote
Shades of Deivi Cruz Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Tonight's game is on AppleTV, not Bally. I like the AppleTV broadcasts, so I'm looking forward to it. 1 Quote
kdog Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Sunday morning MLB games are on Peacock Premium. The Apple TV exclusives are free right now...but that will change down the road. Quote

RandyMarsh Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Perhaps I'm misremembering but my memory tells me we actually touched up Cole a few times in his career so hopefully we will do the same tonight. Quote
Tenacious D Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 the outcome for tonight, that you can take to Vegas, is a 6-3 Tigers victory. And if you're gonna pick a stick, make it be Schoop's. thank me later. Quote
Nerb Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Haven't been this excited for a Tigers game in a while. Hoping Elvin can somehow keep us in it! Quote
RandyMarsh Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 For those that don't have apple tv I guess it's still free to watch the game from what I read on wxyz app. I guess you just have to download it and I imagine create an account. Quote
Jim Cowan Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Watch the game and see if Elvin doesn't remind you of Fidrych at least a little bit. Quote

May be different if you have an iphone/mac but for android I just Googled "apple tv plus" and it took me right to the site. At the top of the page it had a "watch Friday Night Baseball" link. I imagine once the game starts all you have to do is click on that link. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 Apple can kiss my ass. I started the sign up process but stopped when they wanted my CC number. Never had a F'ing Mac and never will. 7 day free trial, yeah sure. Quote

At least, for me. How DARE you not have an IPhone is their attitude. Edited June 3, 2022 by Sports_Freak Quote
