Aside from the actual physical and skill limitations from this team they also just aren't very smart. Like too often when they do have the numbers in transition they will either make the wrong pass, make it too early/late or not make it at all and attempt a tough shot where there only hope is too be bailed out by a whistle. Same thing in the halfcourt, they could have an easy or atleast easier look but instead choose to pass it in traffic at somebody's feet, kick it out for a 3(which wouldn't be bad if they had guys that can shoot) or hesitate allowing the defense to close in. On defense they switch off and help at the wrong times, seem to never be in right position for the rebounds or leave their feet when it isn't necessary.

He also allowed only 19 hits in 42 innings. WHIP was under 1.0.

yes, I had forgotten what it was about because there was so much talk about Russia. I think they couldn't find enough there, so they despertately switched to Ukraine. All of it was worth investigating, but nothing impeachment worthy. It seemed to me like they wanted an impeachment and were looking for something to get one. Of course, the Clinton impeachment was silly too. Impeachment should be used for extremely serious crimes which threaten our national security or our constitution. January 6 qualifies.

The first impeachment was NOT on Russia... It was on Trump's attempt to extort Ukraine for a "fake investigation" on Biden by refusing to forward congressionally approved funding to them. It was a legit impeachment. Probably not strong enough though... which is essentially the same thing as your "weakness on the 1st" and rolls right into your "2nd = suspect in some eyes" comment.

The difference being that no Democrat ever incited their followers to storm any capitols to overturn elections that Republicans won.

One of my favorite radio bits was the jock who played the Barking Dogs version of Jingle Bells. Coming out of the record he acknowleged the local dogs who "left presents" on the lawn outside the studio. Immediately followed by sound effects of a gun going off several times. This lead into a local newscast, with the reporter trying to recover from laughter. You can't get away with that bit today

He was saying it was rigged when he won in '16 because Hillary got more of the popular vote. I told everyone that would listen that if he lost in 2020 that he wouldn't just leave, and it probably came down to 4 or 5 men who actually showed some ****ing backbone (including Pence) that made it happen. That mistake would not be made again in Trump 2.0. Constitution says you can be President for more than 2 terms. Screw that, we'll suspend it and declare Martial Law and he'll make sure he has the people around him who will do just that. He wins next year and this "democracy" is over. (It's not actually a real democracy to begin with).

so bogey is cooked and livers sucks. the two guys we were told the team was relying on and who would have made so much of a difference if they werent hurt to start the year. they refused to trade bogey last year or in the offseason. why? so they could watch the redictable decline of a mid-30s unathletic shooter? and then doubled down by trading for broken joe harris? basketball malpractice going on here.

It's sad that they have to play at the very best to even have a chance to beat a depleted bad team like the Jazz. They just have no margin for error cause they don't have any one skill they can rely on. They can't play defense, can't protect the ball, without Duren can't rebound and most importantly can't shoot. The only way they can win is if they play a near clean game, shoot good from deep and hope their opponent has an off night shooting.

There’s lots of people who honestly think it was stolen because of the lies they have been fed. They lack the ability or courage to dig deeper. The truth doesn’t change because of that but if you going to analyze human behavior you need to understand their beliefs, regardless whether they are correct or accurate. Otherwise you get flawed results.

Prior to Trump winning, I can give you dozens of quotes from Hillary, Stacy Abrams, so many folks from MSNBC, and so on talking about stolen elections. They had no problem saying this and their followers had no problem believing it. Heck, i'm sure you probably still think Russia is the reason why Trump beat Hillary. Therefore, I deem you and all your side liars and hence you can't put anyone on the ballot I don't like either.

Saw flower moon tonight. Easily best work by Scorsese and DeNiro in a very long time, yes I am including departed and Irishman in that analysis. And Robbie Robertson’s music was fantastic. Don’t know what kind of Oscar category he would be eligible for but it would be a great posthumous honor. Music is tricky because if they incorporated anything from prior work it’s often ineligible. This and Oppenheimer will be like No Country and There will be blood in 2007. I read about 60% of the book prior. Tried to finish it but last night I got to a point where I wanted the movie to finish it off. I didn’t know how it ended.
