One other thing: Wadea Al Fayoume, the 6 year old who was murdered a couple of weeks ago in Illinois, was from our new area... drive by the house a decent amount even. When it happened, the condemnation was universal and for good reason: Islamophobia is unacceptable, without condition. Jewish leaders in the Chicago area expressed those same thoughts, unequivocally. Because it was Islamophobia and it needs to be acknowledged. So when you see what happen like what happened in Ithaca with a dorm hall being threatened and police officers having to be brought in to offer protection, a simple acknowledgment that it is antisemitism seems to be a pretty reasonable ask.

I don't think it was a poorly played game at all, maybe a few mistakes but they moved the ball at will and only gave up 1 sustained drive on defense. I mean they gained 500 yards and gave up less than 150, I have no idea how you can call that a poorly played game.

Ultimately, while Holmes has not been perfect, he hasn’t given us reason to doubt him. He’s masterfully turned complete garbage into gold in just over two years. I would rather us stand pat than add the wrong piece, and if that’s the way he saw it, so be it. I do think we are still good enough to beat any team on any given Sunday.

We can all agree Israel has the right to remove Hamas but Gaza is a humanatarian disaster. They need to find a way to get supplies to the people of Gaza. The videos coming out of there are horrifying. Israel is breeding the next generation Hamas or whatever will eventually fill the void.

The mindless idiots that have ran the MLB have made virtually every mistake that one could make in running a pro sports league since before the Curt Flood decision. The season is too dammed long and is being played in non-baseball weather for much of the country. The entire season should be over by October 15. Once the weather turns cool, most folks will look to the traditional indoor or cool weather sports such as football and basketball. They have made a marathon season essentially meaningless by having too many teams in the playoffs. The season should start on May 1. The regular season should be done on August 31, and the playoffs should run September 1 October15. The game faces many problems to stay pertinent, the least of which is that its marketing to younger fans (9-18) is horrible. Finally, the only thing that Manfred seems to care about is to make sure the gamblers are happy and everything and everyone else be dammed. I can do without the continual display of the Vegas odds during a game. Then, in the same breath, MLB tells its players not to bet on games. Well, I'd better adjust because its only a matter of time before every team makes the playoffs, and we will see posted odds on whether the first baseman will scratch his balls during the inning.

I actually remembered wrong-we played more man against Baltimore than we’ve averaged this season. 38.2 pct instead of 20.8 pct. we played zone only 52.7 pct compared to 75.4 pct the previous 6 weeks
