I am going to be in Tokyo on vacation next week and we have tickets for next Wednesday’s quarterfinal at the Tokyo Dome. It’s for the #2 seed in Japan’s group vs #1 in the other, so the tickets for the Thursday quarterfinal were sky high. But if Japan unexpectedly drops to #2 in the group we will be in luck for a great atmosphere. My wife is from Taiwan so them making it to our quarter final would be cool as well.

Santos has lied about every aspect of his life. He is a complete fraud. Warren lied about one thing to get some small advantage which she probably didn't need. Warren was an accomplished economist and professor before she checked off the Indian box. It was a stupid thing to do, but it's been blown way out of proportion.

The other thing about Ivey. He is 66 games into his rookie season and no signs of hitting the "rookie wall". OK, his 3pt shooting has cratered a bit in March, but that's only 4 games. It did appear that he had some extra heat on some passes early last night. A bit less heat, a bit more touch. Maybe the pass wasn't really there to begin with? But, like you said, he's going to make mistakes. The progression is there.

If they dont extend him that means they have him under control for 3 seasons right? The 2 left on his contract then a franchise year if we choose? Yep. And Hillary as the D candidate was just what the "regular" GOP needed to stay on board and eventually fall in line with Trump. His win was decided by the populists and in some sense hard core evangelicals (due to Romney's Mormonism) that sat out 2012. When I watch documentaries on the 90's even I sit there and say "Man, I forgot why I hated her and Bill so much". no one who knows the bears would really care if they moved out of soldier field. soldier field is a dump. its incredibly hard to access. its the smallest stadium in the league. the bears DONT EVEN OWN THE STADIUM. the state and city refused to work with the bears the macimize their revenue and openly insulted the bears when they made noise about leaving. the bears should have moved out of soldier field a LONG time ago. but the people who own the bears are terrible business owners and the people who run the state of illinois and the city of chicago are terrible people and politicians. the bears moving to the burbs in the best thing the bears have done as a franchise in a long, long time. its about time and its more than warranted.

Okay, first... if every single streaming service loses money... why are there streaming services? That makes no sense that they would keeping making more and more services if everyone of them loses money... I mean I can see that a service will lose money initially but I can't understand why a service would start up with the idea that they will always lose money. What's the point? Second, if company A start doing X and it saves them money and consumers eventually just accept it, then company B is gonna start doing X too. I don't believe for a moment that every other service is watching netflex very closely to see what happens. If it bombs, they'll avoid it. If it doesn't, some of them will adopt it as well. Others might purposely NOT adopt it specifically to stand out.
